    Week/Fruit/Veg: 22 weeks tomorrow- papaya!

    Rants/Raves/Apts: Had our A/S on Tues and everything looked perfect. Such a relief!! LO is constantly moving and I just cannot get enough. I think she must have had a huge growth spurt because just in the last week or so I am feeling her way down low, and way above my belly button too! :)

    GTKY: In honor of those wacky Canadians this weekend, what is your favorite Thanksgiving side dish? My mouth is watering just thinking about this. Stuffing, mashed potatoes and corn, all smothered in gravy. Also, MIL's broccoli surprise is delish. She hosted an early Thanksgiving dinner for us last weekend before we left town and it was to die for!!!!

    Week/Fruit/Veg: 21, pomegranate

    Rants/Raves/Apts: Had my a/s last week. It was very short - like 15 min. Apparently baby girl was very cooperative. I wasn't told any definite things as my CNM appt. was immediately after the u/s and she didn't have time to look at the report. Tech said she was measuring 1 day ahead and everything looked good though. FINALLY had my blood drawn for genetic screening too, and waiting to hear back from that (was told a 3 day turnaround, it has been a week already). Next appt. in 4 weeks.

    GTKY: In honor of those wacky Canadians this weekend, what is your favorite Thanksgiving side dish? Sweet potatoes for sure. However, I like my sweet potatoes halved and served with a brown sugar sauce. Not mashed. And no ridiculous marshmallows please! that just ruins them. So, if you are like @kefttsc - then you are doing them wrong :P

    I have never had this sweet potato casserole that you all speak of... I am intrigued.

    I don't care how you like them as long as you don't put nuts on them!  We normally (non-holiday) like them halved with butter, brown sugar and cinnamon!

    Who knew that sweet potatoes were so controversial!!!!  LOL!

    @lizzybean you are TOTALLY missing out.  Here is one of my favorite recipes.  Mom makes it with Splenda instead of sugar because my dad is diabetic.

    ^ that is the strangest looking thing I have ever seen! I will save this and perhaps DH and I will try it out for our American Thanksgiving this year..

    Rants/Raves/Apts: Next appt is 10/16 for ttts, Fetal Echo + A/S part 2 is 10/31

    GTKY: In honor of those wacky Canadians this weekend, what is your favorite Thanksgiving side dish?

    Dressing!!!! (Stuffing is too tough to do safely without drying out the whole bird).

    I make a massive mount of Italian sausage/mushroom dressing and roast the turkey butterflied over it to catch all the juices.

    @elephantsonpatrol I only make dressing too but still call it stuffing. Silly, I know.

    @lizzybean, you've never seen that casserole?? I'm not a fan at all (hate sweet and savory together) but DH would swoon if I ever made that one year. People love it!

    Week/Fruit/Veg: 23 weeks today, grapefruits!

    Rants/Raves/Apts: Feeling pretty good today. Still gagging before and after eating a lot which I think will stick with me until the end. Next appt is with MFM on 10/17. Very nervous for that appt.

    Does cranberry sauce count?  I like it when it still looks like the can, jellied NOT whole berry.  I could eat the can by myself.

    Weeks: 22 papaya (or corn on the cob according to my other app)

    r/r/a- follow-up anatomy scan on the 22nd because she was shy the first time. Rant stress + pregnancy = insomnia and indigestion and it is making me crazy.
    Love is like infinity: You can't have more or less infinity, and you can't compare two things to see if they're "equally infinite." Infinity just is, and that's the way I think love is, too.

    Week/Fruit/Veg: 20! Halfway there! Oh, and banana.

    Rants/Raves/Apts: 20wk appointment on Monday, which is also our Fall Break. I'm hoping since I won't have come from a day of teaching that my BP will be much more acceptable.

    Week/ Fruit: 21/pomegranate

    Rants/Raves/Appt: Still tired as anything, and spending all day tomorrow on the Amtrak train heading to Buffalo to see family (I know I should be excited but 10 hours on a train....). Had our AS and glad to report very healthy boy, that we are naming Blake Killian.

    GTKY: I'm gonna say it APPLE PIE!!!

    Week/Fruit/Veg: 22 weeks on Saturday- Papaya
    Rants/Raves/Apts: Nothing much- this is the first week that I've totally lost all desire to work out. :/  I'd been doing really well with it, but a stressful work week has done me in.  I have a half marathon tomorrow, and skipped my last 2 runs.  I'm doing this 1/2 marathon as a "warm up" for my real half marathon next week- this one is with a friend who needs some support, and I am supposed to do a 10 mile training run anyway, so I figured the 3 extra miles wouldn't be too bad since she wants to do a run/walk.  I'm hoping that my body just needed the rest and the 1/2 tomorrow will jumpstart my enthusiasm again.
    GTKY: In honor of those wacky Canadians this weekend, what is your favorite Thanksgiving side dish? I LOVE my mom's mashed potato casserole.  Seriously, SO good.

    Week/Fruit/Veg: banana finally!

    Rants/Raves/Apts: had my anatomy scan and little guy didn't cooperate so I see him again Monday, only rant is insurance doesn't cover the second one at my doctor so I have to go to the high risk center. My dumb brain keeps trying to think of what could be wrong even though I KNOW he's fine.

    GTKY: In honor of those wacky Canadians this weekend, what is your favorite Thanksgiving side dish? Rolls filled with stuffing. Excuse me while I text dh to go to the store.

    Week/Fruit/Veg: Week 21--helloooooo pomegranate :)

    Rants/Raves/Apts: Our A/S is on Monday! If all goes well, this will be the only time we see the sea monkey on the inside, so I'm pretty pumped. Overall, I've been feeling pretty well. Blessed to have made it this long, and not had any really awful symptoms. I'm one of those annoyingly perky women who loves being pregnant.

    GTKY: In honor of those wacky Canadians this weekend, what is your favorite Thanksgiving side dish?:

    This is a tough one. My grandma makes this incredible from-scratch cranberry salad with walnuts and grapes and fresh pineapple. She always goes to my uncle's house on Thanksgiving day, but stops by dad's early thanksgiving morning to drop off a dish of it. We fight over it, and it rarely makes it to the dinner table.

    My mom also makes these insane buttered noodles that involves cubing bread and toasting them in about 3 sticks of butter, then tossing them with egg noodles. It's so ridiculously rich and carb-laden, it's only a holiday dish.

    Week/Fruit/Veg: 23 & grapefruit I think

    Rants/Raves/Apts: slight braggy rant, baby is moving so much and he's big enough for my whole belly to move around too. He is just so annoying about it at 2-4 am every day. I just want to sleep and the little angel always wakes me up. I'm happy that he's moving though. Keeps me sane. My next appointment will be my glucose test which I'm looking forward to because I like the tang juice stuff. I'm weird.

    GTKY: In honor of those wacky Canadians this weekend, what is your favorite Thanksgiving side dish?
    I love all the food but my MIL's sweet potato casserole is to die for!!

I had felt popping but then farted, so I assumed it was just gas bubbles. I showed her where I felt it and she said that was ALL uterus and my digestive tract had been pushed out of place from there and it was him. I haven't really felt it since.
