My son's birthday is today. We are doing a small family-only party tomorrow at our family farm, so that the kids can pet some animals.

Let's assume that I just filed a brief that I thought I wouldn't finish u t the very last second this afternoon.

How "bad mother" would it be if I just went to the mall for the first time in about six months and window shopped (possibly even actually shopped) in the peace and quiet for an hour or two this afternoon, instead of going home to spend some quality time with my birthday boy and his older sister?

Bad mother? Or worst mother?

I may be in the minority, but I wouldn't care if you posted pictures or not. I wouldn't call your baby names or make fun of either of you.

However, I think you would be doing yourself a favor if you dropped the whole "woe is me" bit. Yeah, you screwed up and got called out for it. But if I remember correctly, you apologized. I don't know why you keep bringing it up, because it just irritates people and it makes you look silly to keep rehashing it. Don't change your screenname anymore, stop bringing up how you screwed up, and just play it cool. I think most people would be okay with that.

We are flying to FL for vacation tomorrow and we need all the prayers that DS doesn't totally melt down. We leave here at 9:30 and get there at 1:45 so no morning nap. DS loves his schedule and does not do well with missed naps. We have almost 2 hours in ATL so I am hoping if I pop him in the Boba he will take a nap on me. [-O<

I think I starved my baby today. She nursed a few times but we were out and about so she never really ate solids. I think she had a few bites of banana and a handful of Cheerios. On the way home from birthday party number 2 she was screaming and when I realized how little she ate I felt horrible. I kept handing her back mum mums and baby cookies and veggie straws to keep her happy until I could get home. I didn't pull over because it was easier to get home then get her out of the seat, feed her and the try to put her back in. But I still feel awful even though I gave her some purée as soon as we walked in the door and let her nurse for a long time.

DD had croup this week. It's the worst. It took her forever to get better and I was freaked out about the enterovirus all week. So she finally seemed better friday, then yesterday she was having diharrhea and throwing up. My poor DD can't catch a break this week.

@dovetail223‌ aria had croup last month and it was awful - it took it's toll on both of us. Was she on any kind of antibiotic? A is now for an ear infection and they warned us it would give her diarrhea so maybe that's it!

She was on a steroid all week and the nebulizer (I'm sure I'm spelling that incorrectly). She finished up the steroid Friday night and the diarrhea started yesterday. Fortunately she's still drinking liquids and eating. No fever but she's def not herself. I feel really bad for her :-/

Was aria on a steroid @cdhaslag‌?
