The on call doctor prescribed me a 5-day yeast infection medication. But when I saw my OB after she came back from her trip, she tested me and confirmed it was a BV. Totally different course of treatment. Always call your doctor and make sure they test with a swab- not guess
I have these VERY badly every pregnancy and one hospital visit I was told to lather up with plain yogurt gross I know but finally did it and it works wonders. This was also later confirmed by my midwife/OB to be a much quicker response than the pill form.

Except
1) she might have BV 2) it matters what kind of yogurt you use 3) yogurt is messier than other treatments 4) yogurt is not an FDA approved treatment for YI 5) pregnancy is not the time to be experimenting with home remedies that involve putting food in your vag 6) you are not a doctor
I think you're looking a little deep into me simply offering a suggestion regarding something that has worked for me. I'm not sure if there was more depth involved in the other thread she posted on this because I didn't look for it specifically, I was just throwing something out there that was told to me by a Doctor... several actually.
