My scrub pants keep rolling down which makes my gut pop and hang out. My top barely covers it and I look like an as*. I swear I can see peoples eyes glancing at my gut as they walk past in the halls. Either that or their checking out what looks like (I swear it isn't) a camel toe that I'm also rocking. And to think that these were my fat pants 6 months ago. Le sigh. I hate my desk job.
Eta - I edited the title. So sorry to those who I offended. I certainly didn't mean to hurt anyone's feeling and my sincere apologies to those who I did.
Omg, yes, the scrub pants. I have to pull them up constantly because my belly keeps rolling them down.
Also, my H, thinking he was being helpful, told me yesterday that he'd watch LO at home so I could go on a shopping trip because "you don't have anything that looks good on you". Uh...
I tried my wedding dress on the other day, just after my 6 year anniversary, I'd been able to squeeze in it in the past. .... Now it needs about 5 inches added to it. (
Can anyone recommend a good pair of pants that'll tuck in the c-section tummy but not give a muffin top? I wore Old Navy all the time but they are all skinny jeans these days and I don't like the cut. I was thinking of trying 'not my mothers jeans' brand but they are really expensive and I have to order them online.
I've been getting cheap Levi's at Walmart. ... They have several different fits. I needed something that wasn't tiny in the crotch anymore. I've been pretty happy with them and I refuse to pay more than $25 for a pair of jeans. ...
@bermybabe68 I don't know of a specific brand to recommend to you but wanted to suggest checking a 2nd hand store. This summer I got a couple pairs of name brand jeans for $8 that fit my mommy body (wider hips, no csection) better then my old jeans do. Doing this you can try a bunch of different brands on and hope to find one (or more) that work for you. Just a thought
I feel disgusting. I also have the csection shelf (never knew this was a thing lol). I am also about 20 lbs heavier than I was 1 month post partum ugh! I gained 9 lbs during my pregnancy and somehow lost 24lbs within the first month after DD was born. I've gained 20 of those back. I'm working two jobs right now, so I'm pretty much working most of the day with a little bit of time with DD in there. That's left me with basically no time to work out and cook healthy meals. I'm so mad at myself because I felt so good one month after DD was born. And then I let myself get to this.
@wowcheezits was thinking of you lately. Haven't seen you around in a while. Hope you and the family are doing well?
I had hyperthyroidism and Graves disease 15 yrs ago and I know how tough it can be. The yellowing, the weight, the shaking etc. ugh. Hope you get it sorted ASAP. They recommended radioactive iodine for me but I questioned them on it. Basically they said I'd be on drugs to regulate my thyroid for the rest of my life. If I did the radioactive iodine, I'd be on drugs for the rest of my life. For me, what's the dif? I'd be taking pills everyday anyway. I really lucked out though and within a year of being diagnosed my thyroid regulated itself and I've had no issues.
