Baby's heart rate?

I had my first ultrasound today, I'm 6 weeks and 6 days, and the heart rate was 119 Bpm. The ultrasound tech said that's low, but from everything I've read and heard that's pretty normal? Any experienced moms, or new moms have any input? :s

    That doesn't seem low IMHO, at 6 weeks i think my babies hr was 107 and then at 7 it was 120 then now at 9 it's 170. But your provider will monitor it . I wouldn't worry.

    Mine at 6w5d yesterday was 125 and they said that was good.

    My baby's heart rate was 114 at 6w6d and the doctor said he was totally fine with that.

    At 6wks HR was 100 and at 7wks 1day HR was 142. The tech and dr told us both were very good for the point in the pregnancy.

    We heard baby's heartbeat today! It was 125 BPM, and my doc said anything over 120 is great at this stage. I am 6 weeks 5 days.

    Shame on your tech for causing you unnecessary stress. Mine was 115 at 6w4d. My reproductive endocrinologist said, "It'll get faster." At 8w4d it was 182. Try not to worry! :)

    My first two were girls and had high heart rates and my third was a boy and he had a lower heart rate. I totally believe that wives tale! Good luck.

    I had a recent ultrasound at 6w4d and heart rate was 123. Tech told me they get worried when it is under 100.

    Uh oh now I'm worried reading your responses! I had an ultra sound and my bpm was 150 at 10 weeks. The tech said that was fine, but compared to everyone else's it seems slow. Does anyone know if 150 is ok at 10 weeks?

    Mine was 135 at 6 weeks 5 days but my Are said anything over 100 was great

    I had the same issue. Just had my first appt last week at 6w2d and 120 bpm. It threw me off a little since my previous mc had a higher bpm closer to 7 wks but my OB wasn't concerned.

    Our babies heart rate was only 87 at 6 weeks. Went back at 8 weeks 1 day and heartbeat was 154! :)

    At where you are, anything over 90 is good. I work in a hospital. At 7 weeks 5 days my baby's heart rate was 175 and at 8 weeks 6 days it was 185. Just remember everyone is different. And anything over 90 at how far along you are is good, below that and I would talk to your doctor.

    At 6 weeks my bean was at 107 bpm then at 9 weeks up to 167 bpm. Can't wait to go back and see the progress I've been reading about!

    At 6 weeks 4 days our baby's heart rate was 133. It was absolutely amazing to hear!

    My doc didn't even measure mine at 9 weeks. She said it looked good/strong.

    5w6d 104bpm...tech said very normal. She said it jumps really quickly after 6wk. Shame on your tech for telling you anything that could cause stress, esp when not true.
    TTC: 1/2014 BFP: 9/24 EDD: 6/8/2015 Sorry for the poor man's siggy...ticker won't load regardless of how many tips I read.
