I get it, hair falls out due to hormone changes, but this is crazy how much I've lost this past week!! I am exclusively breastfeeding and am curious as to why it waited until 4mos postpartum when I'm producing about the same amount of estrogen? I seriously feel like Christine Taylor in "The Craft"!
How much hair have you lost?
Hair loss and also bc we love polls! 195 votes
The norm (a few hairs here and there)
Clumps are falling out, I'm on my 10th lint roller
Notice extra loss in the shower and when it's brushed
Velociraptors shed skin, not hair
Re: Hair loss and also bc we love polls!
I'm glad I had thick hair to begin with because otherwise I'd need a wig by now. I have spots towards the front of my hairline that are REALLY thin almost bald spots. I don't think others notice as much as I do but it bothers me because my hair and my nose are the only things about me that I've ever "liked".
I mentioned this somewhere else (FB maybe?) that even the texture of my hair is changing. It is much oilier than usual and feels coarse. I'll be glad when it is back to normal.
@njbabymama I don't think it has anything to do with increased pump vs BFing. My friend's having the same issue and she only BFs because DD won't take a bottle anymore
I'm also starting to find mine annoying. I've found a few hairs wrapped around DD's fingers. Poor girl. I've noticed hers is finally starting to fall out too. She has only mama milk so I'm wondering if it's part of the hormone change? AF also showed up this week. I'm pretty much over this whole PP thing lol!
