    I heard it and thought it was awful, but people are LOVING it on the baby name board. I guess my FFFC is that I think it's terrible.

    If it was just his baby I'd probably side-eye it, but Eva Mendes is (obviously) hispanic and the name is as well, so it's all good. It sounds prettier with the accent than most Americans would pronounce it. 
    Due with #5 April 22, 2015. It's a girl!!!!! 

     Yes it was planned, yes we know what causes that, no we are not on public assistance, and yes we will be getting cable after this. ;)

    It's NMS, but much better than some other celebrity baby names (I will never understand Wyatt or Maxwell for a girl, or Apple, Blue Ivy).  But I'm generally traditional in my names, although with a third baby we may have to think a little further outside the box.

    Poor celebrity kids. The names are always a publicity statement.
    Esmeralda Amada isn't bad. It just screams "yea my parents are so rich and famous that a typical name just wouldn't do"

    It's pretty but I wouldn't choose if for my own child. I remember one of my friends in high school saying she wanted to name her future daughter Esmerelda.
