Possible ectopic pregnancy?

Okay- last week at 4 wks 5 days my HCG was 192, yesterday at 5 wks 4 days it was 2200. I had an u/s in which they couldn't see anything... My doctor expressed concern to me today that it could be ectopic. I don't know what to think or feel. Has anyone experienced this? I'm still cautiously hopeful but I don't know how long I can keep that up. My next beta is to be drawn tomorrow. Another u/s and doctor visit next Wednesday. What a mind f**k. :/

    I am sorry, this is a mindfuck. Are you temping for ovulation? Being off on ovulation may have made your u/s at too early a date to see anything, 5w4days seems really early to me, but I do not know a lot about u/s.  Search for the doubling beta calculator and plug in your results.

    I always err on the side of hope. Sending t&ps and have everything crossed that everything looks awesome next Wednesday!

    We couldn't see anything on u/s at 5 weeks. So maybe you just can't see yet? T&p to you!

    Been through an ectopic pregnancy but symptoms were very different... My thoughts and prayers are with you.

    I had an ectopic and my betas were all over the place. Sounds like they are monitoring it, but it could also be too early to see anything. Definite T&Ps for you.
