My best friend and I have been friends for 25 years. She is my one true blue friend and I'm lucky to have her. Before I got married I had two other very close friends as well, but my relationship with them now is kind of "I'll see ya when I see ya".
My sister in law was my best friend before I married her brother . (Still is) Then I have my best friend from where I grew up, I obviously don't see her but all my best memories growing up are with her
I have a few very close friends, but we've all become more distant in different ways, which makes me sad.
My best friend that I've had since middle school mode to Florida. We've both changed a lot and aren't near as close as we used to be, but when we talk on the phone, we pick up right where we left off.
My other main bestie, who I went to high school and college with, lived with for 5 years, and moved out of state with has become really distant. She is older than I am, but is not married, or close to being married. I personally think that she is having a hard time with the fact that we are in different stages of life. She never asks about Emmett or visits us. We still talk on the phone a good amount though.
I became very good friends with my teaching partner a few years so. We hang out and talk a lot (I was her maid of honor last summer) but have distanced a little how that she changed school districts.
My besties all live in different states than me since hubs and I left our home state after our wedding. One of my bests is my ex boyfriend's sister, and she's also one of my husband's best friends too. I'm very close with my brothers, my parents and my sister in law. At 32 I feel like I've got all the 'right' people in my life. Many of the others have faded away and I am fine with that.
I have a lot less than I use to. I had 8 bridesmaids and was very close to all of them. 5 years later, I'm close to 4. And not one of them lives in the same town as me. So, while I have a few great friends, my mom is really my bff who I do everything with and talk to the most.
I was fortunate to have a really good group of friends in high school and then again in college. I've been moving around the country with DH since I was 21 but I know about 5-6 that I can call at any time and they'll be there for me. My best friend since age 2 was just here this weekend visiting us and my other best friend from HS is out on a US exploration ship doing ocean mapping and got to a satellite phone to call my on my birthday when she was out in the middle of the Atlantic. I have two college friends that I talk so almost daily as well. I have 2 friends here in our current city who I can really depend on. I've only known them for 2 years but I totally trust them.
I have a few close friends, 2 of them i have been friends with since we were 4 or 5 years old. We grew up with each other, one lives a couple hours away and she has a daughter who turns 1 on the 24th and then the other one lives 15 mins away and we haven't really spoke recently or seen each other because we are both so busy with different stages in our lives. My other one is also a childhood friend and we talk quite a bit, she has ovarian cancer and the last time we were going to hang out...she couldn't because my daughter had been sick. But overall my mom, mil, and sister are my best friends.
