Hey everyone! I haven't posted in a while but I've been keeping up with all of you and trying my best to stay active!
I just have a question about weight and weight loss. I've been going back and forth between 130 and 127 pounds since I was about 5 weeks pregnant. I will be 12 weeks tomorrow so I weighed myself expecting to see at least some weight gain since I haven't weighed myself for about a week and last time I was 130. Today I was 128. Is this something that's normal? I still have some symptoms but they're easing up as Im leaving my first trimester.
I had my first ultrasound at 7w6d and everything was perfect and the baby had a nice strong heartbeat, but I haven't been able to hear it since then and my next appointment is October 17th where I'll be 13 weeks and we should be able to hear it with a doppler. I'm just wondering if weight has anything to do with chances of a miscarriage. Any information would be greatly appreciated!
Re: Weight Loss
normal. (assuming you aren't horribly underweight to begin with)
things will pick up in 2nd and 3rd tri.
eat a normal healthy well-balanced diet, don't deprive yourself if you are hungry.
(I've lost 17 pounds in 1st tri - I'm heavier in general - but my docs aren't concerned)
