I've had it!

This discussion may be a little TMI for some…but I know we are all dealing with it!  Are there any tried and true ways on how to help or deal with the constipation?  I am so flipping uncomfortable all the time!!  Doc gave me prescribed prenatals with fiber in them, but it is not enough.  Please help!!

Re: I've had it!

  • we've had lots of posts on this.  so the search function might provide some useful answers.  to sum up, some answers people have suggested: good diet (fruits/vegs, etc), exercise, fiber supplement, calling doctor...

  • Right there with you! This is LO #2 for me and I do NOT remember being so constipated with DD. Water, water and more water is what's working for me.
  • I actually like Prunes (I must be 90 years old) but I have a handful each day, and they keep things moving.
  • Bake a ham!
    Collard greens
    Bran muffins
    Coffee or tea
    Dark chocolate
    Fiber gummies
I thought of what makes DD poop hahaha

    Stay away from cheese
  • I still had a lot of trouble even after increasing my fiber (it added to my discomfort) and water (also more discomfort). Colace is the only thing that helped so far. My doctor recommended it.
