HCG levels question

Hi everyone! On Monday morning, I got my first BETA blood test at 4 weeks exactly. It was a 96. Today I got repeat bloodwork done, and it was a 206. I know they are supposed to at least double, which it did, but that seems super low to me. Is there anyone out there that had similar numbers? Thank you!!!

    Agreed normal doubling time is 48-72 hours. So even if it did not exactly double in 48 but 72 you are still within the norm. Betas are funny they can be slow to start and all the sudden sky rocket. At approximately 6 weeks mine were TRIPLING! They were just trickling at first too!! Anyway there was just a post of a girl who's first beta was 8.5 or something and hers went on to rise up! My friend's beta started at 14!!!!! Early betas can sometimes start slow and even not double appropriately and then sky rocket such as is the case often with late implanters! Keep us posted and fingers crossed for ya! 4 weeks is so SUPER early.

    This is/was me!  I'm having my first u/s tomorrow at a little over 6 weeks.  I started at 8.8, then tripled in 48 hours, then was doubling every 24 hours for the next two draws!  I'm fully expecting a beautiful little heartbeat!  It's definitely about increasing numbers, not as much about where they start.  I'll tell you, my doctor NEVER told me to expect the worse, or to even worry about the worse as a matter of fact.

    My recommendation would be to request another beta check for Saturday just to give yourself the reassurance. As long as its gone up 342 or higher everything is looking great!

    Thank you all for your input! I spoke with my doctor, and she said she is happy with the numbers. They will continue to check levels every week until I reach 8,000 and then they will do an u/s. I appreciate all of your advice and feedback. :D

    I haven't posted here much, but ME, ME, ME. And I was sure it was over. My 4 week, 1 day was 96. 48 hours later, 177. I am now almost 13 weeks, have seen a beautiful baby twice and have a strong heartbeat. :)
