I just got a Freetime but now I'm reading about how bad microfiber is to put directly against baby's skin. What are your experiences? Do you add an extra insert over the microfiber flaps of the Freetime?
The Freetime is topped with stay-dry microsuede (same material as the liner of BG pockets) which is fine to go against the skin, just be careful of the flaps bunching up and exposing the MF on the bottom of the flaps. MF AIOs aren't my favorite because MF doesn't hold as much and is more prone to compression leaks. We own a Freetime and its usually fine for daytime use, but I try to avoid it for naps or the exersaucer/jumper.
