I'm still trying to decide which classes to take that our hospital offers. Birthing, breastfeeding, first aid etc. How did you decide? Classes are expensive imo, so I'm trying to take only the class(es) thats most important. Thoughts?

I am going to start looking into this as well. I will be deliever at Good Sam so I am going to look into what they offer. I am going to start doing this in the next few weeks so if I find out more information I will let you know. I do agree to PP that all those classess sound pretty important. I want as much knowledge as I can get before baby comes!! When is you due date?
My edd is Feb 2! Eek, it's coming up quickly.

I found the breastfeeding class (offered at Christ) was super helpful. I believe that if you plan on trying to breastfeed you should take a class, plus it's for your partner too so they can be more informed. When I was pregnant I also wanted to cover all my bases. The class was offered as a two-in-one being split with the first session being breastfeeding, and the second being baby basics. We ducked out after the first session....
I delivered at Bethesda North (loved my experience there), and took classes there. I didn't find it expensive at all. I took the condensed one day birthing class (DH came with). I believe it was $90, but it included a separate breastfeeding class (also highly recommend), and a C - Section class. I didn't attend the C - Section class, but it would have been good to attend and be prepared had the need for a section arisen (thankfully, it did not).
@ssoegaard2011 This is the class I'm thinking about too! Glad you found it helpful.
