Yes! Last night I drank 3 tall glasses of water in a row and still felt thirsty! Then I had to get up to pee at EVERY commercial break while we were watching TV for an hour and twice again during the night.

I thought it was just me being weird... I didn't know that was a symptom but yes I've been parched and even chugging water leaves my mouth feeling dry!
Yes, I am constantly thirsty! I will finish a bottle of water and it still won't be enough. I am drinking a ton, and using the bathroom all day long! When I wake up in the morning my mouth is so try I can barely swallow.
me too and I'm so happy to hear others say this because i wasn't really thinking of it as a symptom and I'm starting to become neurotic thinking that I'm not pregnant anymore or something bad has happened due to lack of symptoms
Oh My goodness yes, I'm Thirsty all the time. I can't stand room temperature water anymore, it has to be chilled or else I get even more nauseated. Chilled water with lemon wedges never tasted better.
I think being thirsty this early on is very normal and not necessarily because of gestational diabetes. During my first pregnancy, before I even found out I was pregnant I was extremely thirsty and that day no amount of water could fix my thirst. It settled down after awhile and I always keep a water bottle with me now. There was nothing wrong with me, just my body needing more fluids to support the baby. I'm pretty thirsty again this time too.
Yeah I'm definitely not an expert but I "try" to help when I can...
I drink and drink and drink. I never stop. Milk or water. My last pregnancy was this way too. My skin looks awesome because of it! haha. I never drink enough in my regular life, so this is good.
Ok, so recently I have started drinking a lot lot lot more water too... All day and in the evening... Lots of trips to the bathroom! I always do a cheap internet pregnancy test in the morning, and the past couple have been a little lighter. They were really dark, and now they are still pretty dark but not quite as dark... Can this be because I'm drinking a lot if water?
Uhhhh I don't think any of us are far enough along to have GD. Also yes; give me all the water!! I am always like that anyway though so it's kind of crazy now!

Don't quote me on this, but our blood volume is increasing significantly (by 50% or more) and water is a huge component of blood, I think being thirsty is our body's way to get enough fluids to make all the extra blood, at least in early pregnancy. Just something I've thought about to explain the ridiculous thirst I've had.
So glad I'm not alone! And I have read it's a symptom to be worried about later on but normal for this early. The bathroom trips are killer- I don't mind drinking but work is getting hard with me running to tinkle every 20 minutes!
Yes! I just seriously grouched at my poor partner because I was SO thirsty. She dutifully stayed quiet and bought me exactly what I wanted (a fruit juice spritzer). LOL!
