Finally coming out of lurking..

I finally actually signed up for TB and am coming out of hiding, you girls are just too funny not to join in. DH and I will be welcoming twins the beginning of April (although we didn't find out the twin part until about 12 weeks, SURPRISE haha). We had a little bit of a bumpy road to conception, and after being told numerous times that the chances of us conceiving "on our own" were basically non-existent.. we found out that was maybe not the case haha. We find out on 10/21 the sex of these two little monsters that are eating me out of a home and we can't wait. Also to add to the craziness, we have 4 dogs that are basically our current children. I've worked in rescue for about the past 5 years (on the side) and that's how you acquire 4 dogs lol. So 2 babies, 4 dogs, ready or not! Glad to finally be apart of TB and can't wait to get to know you girls! :x

Only the 2 little ones (a dachshund/mini greyhound mix and a long haired dachshund".. they usually sleep down at the end of the bed under the covers. The other 2 (german shepherd and rottweiler/husky mix) usually start out on their beds in our room, but only make it a couple of hours before they wanna go outside! I keep trying to talk DH into letting get the little ones to sleep in dog beds, but he's not having it haha. So ridiculous!

Can't just have one! I always thought that was crazy until we got our first and then I started working with a dachshund specific rescue. The majority of doxie owners have AT LEAST 2 lol!

Hehe thanks guys!! They're monsters!! But the sweetest little monsters ever. They've all been SO good since I've been pregnant, I'm so excited to see how they are with the babies! My shepherd was abused the first 6 months of her life before we rescued her so she's already so protective of my husband and I, so I'm sure she's gonna be just the perfect little (big) guard dog!

Good ole' Oklahoma.. You know, right in the heart of where a beheading happened a few backs back. Anyone hear about that? Makes it really easy to sleep at night lol. And trust me, you'd get more slobbery smelly kisses your little heart could desire haha! They're pretty love able! Mowgli has no idea he weighs 90 pounds, he's convinced he's a lap dog!

According to google maps you are a 20 hour drive away from me, so I suggest you get in your car now and start driving, I'll take you out for Canadian poutine- that should make it all worth your while

AND Canada is Behedding free since 2008! So we got that going for us

DH and I have always talked about going to Canada, now how to explain that we're going to Canada.. with all 4 dogs.. to eat Canadian Poutine with a dancing pregnant pumpkin in a turtle neck that I met on the internet??? I feel like he'll take it well. Although, 20 hours with Mowgli's head sticking out the sunroof (because he will not ride in the car, rain, shine, summer, or winter, without his head out the sunroof) might be one heck of a drive! Canada, here we come!

Thank you!! We just had 2 foster pups from the rescue that were smooth reds, brother and sister, they were pretty sweet! They were about 9 months old and all they wanted to do was curl up together in the corner of the couch and nap. Sweetest thing ever!

We used to have a husky/wolf mix too! She was the sweetest! It's always the big ones that think they're tiny. I swear Mowgli thinks he's a dachshund because Marley and Piper both are lol!

And your first ultrasound sounds less shocking than mine, I was going in for a routine 9 week ultrasound to check for the heart beat. And not only found out twins but found out that I was actually 15 weeks pregnant.... (not for this pregnancy though)
