just told my friend (who works as a stripper,) that our baby name is Peaches and she said "you named her after my coworker!"

So ha, peaches IS a stripper's stage name, FYI

That's funny! When I had to pick up a delivery I was told that my name sounded like a stripper name. My first name is cynthia but (my former name when I was married) made it sound like sincere if you shortened the first name and put it with my last name.

I didnt want to mention it earlier because I think the name Peaches is pretty, but the first thing I thought of was the porno i "borrowed" when I was a teen, where Peaches was the star...

Well I still love Peaches even of it is a stripper/video game princess name. Fig is my other fav fruit themed name. Although I'm not sure if it qualifies as a *good* numerology name??

We took my sister to a "Stripper 101" class (seriously) in Vegas for her bachelorette and at the end the instructor gave us a list of "Stripper Names" to choose from for our official "graduation." I was mortified to find every version of my name on the list...and someone picked it.

I don't really think it is a stripper name per say. It is definitely unique and will be a good talking point when she grows up. I think stripper names are all subjective. True story my mom actually changed my original name because my last name when mixed with my first name sounded like a stripper. My aunt who was a stripper later used that name.

It is funny because the name that my mom choose for me is a simple first name but when mixed with my last name people have asked me several times if it is a stage name. In high school the boys used to joke that I had a porn star name.

I say go with your heart. I like Peaches is it unique and charming.
