Since LO's birthday is only two week later than mine, I am going to recreate a picture that my mom took of me on my first Halloween since we will be about the same age. Therefore, she will be Minnie Mouse. I tried to find the actual costume that I wore, but no such luck. I plan on giving the photo of myself and LO and the original picture of it to my mom as a gift. (framed, of course).

i got a yoda costume cheap at a consignment so that DH or I can wear her and we be Luke Skywalker....DS thought it was awesome and wants to be Vader. Alternatively, we are going to a Dr Who themed wedding the weekend before...DD will be a tardis and DS is the 10th Dr. I'm going as a Weepng Angel...i'm getting into this far too much since I don't even watch Dr Who.

We r going as mario brothers. Hubby is mario, I am Luigi and LO is princess peach. Using the Disney aurora onsie and adding a couple of things to it. It should be fun.

@frenchchocolate611...U should try Mario & Luigi. That's what we all were one year. DH was big Mario & DS was little Mario. I was Luigi. I hand made the hats & DS candy bucket I made into a green mushroom. All I had to buy were overals (used & u can dye then blue if u like) & red & green long sleeves. Plus a package of stuck on mustaches. I loved it!!!

I work from home on Fridays and there are a couple of local party type things happening that I can "sneak out of work" and take her to during the day. I am sure my husband will work late, per usual, but then again night time is not great these days for LO anyway. (and trick or treating ain't happening for a 4 month old).

Night time is usually just me nursing her and trying to keep things low key so she chills out and knows bedtime is coming. (This doesn't always work.)

I didn't want to buy a costume but on a local Mom board someone is selling a mouse costume for cheap in her size. I could have snagged the ladybug someone was selling too, but I figure now I can wear black and be a cat or uh...anyone else know anything cute and easy to go with a mouse? I am not crafty. Also, MIL bought her this.
