Today is DH's birthday so I made shrimp scampi over angel hair pasta (one of his favorites), with sauteed asparagus and warm french bread and french wine. With cupcakes for dessert! What is everyone else having for dinner? We just got new windows put in yesterday, so it was nice to eat dinner with the windows open since it's so nice outside today. :-)

Mmm sounds good! I had leftover (chicken) sausage & peppers on Italian bread while A made pizza for her & her brother. My husband is working late.

Can you all come cook for us?

I stopped and got a chicken from the store and veggies and bread. Then got vetoed and we went out. Which would be fine, but this place was so slow. 5 tables and we waited an hour. And then my husband's food was barely warmer than room temp. He always hates what he gets there and the service so I don't understand why we went out when I had picked food up. I had baked mostacoli. It was fine.

I had jack Daniels pulled chicken with salad. Dh&lo had the pulled chicken on rolls. That stuff is good for anyone that likes to keep pre made food in the fridge.
