I watched up until the clown and then had to shut that creepy fucker off. I woke up at midnight because I had a dream about the circus and was up for an hour thinking about Twisty.
I am going to watch it today during the day though. I think I am going to like the story line, but I just can't with that clown.

I fell asleep half way through so I'm going to have to watch it again tonight. That clown though...WTAF??? Clowns don't normally bother me, but that motherfucker is not right.
@aforst Seriously. I read a thing that said the people working on the set were getting creeped out by the clown. Murphy said he only gets worse from here - yeah, I'll definitely be watching during the day from here on out!
I might be in the minority, but I don't think it started off as strongly as Coven. But I'm sure they will ramp up the creepiness. The clown is fucking scary though..that mouth!
I am really amazed by Sara's character. I think it's pretty incredible that she's playing a two-headed woman with two different personalities. I love the set too.
That clown is freaking insane. DH and I watched the whole episode last night. The scene with him in that bus with the girl and little boy was crazy. I read an article that I thought really nailed it. It said something about how is character can seem really insane, but also kind of child-like. I think that's even freakier b/c we know how unpredictable children can be!
I read an Entertainment Weekly article about this show and Ryan Murphy says he included the orgy cause the "freaks" lived a "party lifestyle." The phrase "get your freak on" comes from that time (Jim Gaffigan voice) not Missy Elliot?!.
Based on the premier, all the characters seem FASCINATING. I think this is going to be the best season so far, though I am partial to the original. As far as Sarah Paulson's characters go, um, how talented is she to do that? In the same article, mentioned above, Murphy says it takes 12-23 HOURS to do scenes with her because it is that involved. Normal is about 5 hours he says. So, props.
But I wouldn't call that an orgy as much as a gang rape.
Yep, I think you're right. I thought the article had said orgy, but I think I got that from a PP instead. The article just refers to it as a "sex tape."
