This is a weekly thread for runners who were due June 2014, that is posted on Mondays . All who run--or who want to start running--are welcome, regardless of mileage, pace, ability, size, shape, or terrestrial status. We had this thread during pregnancy, now it's time to lose that baby weight.
how were your runs and workouts this week?
notice any major changes since having baby? weird pains?
Start a goal for the month of October - # miles? # of runs? pace? Whatever works for you. Let's hold ourselves accountable to reach our goals! We'll tally up accomplishments at the end of the month. Good luck!
Re: **Born to Run Junebugs**
Still feeling fine, just feel soooo out of shape!
My goal is just to run like 3-4 times per week, it's hard to make real goals anymore!
notice any major changes since having baby? weird pains? I have pelvic pain the day after a run.

Just to keep running consistently. I'll start training for a half marathon next month. Also, still working on losing the rest of the baby weight.
I didn't get to run this week because of the weather. I did the elliptical instead. I also tried Baby and Me Yoga and Stroller Strides. The yoga wasn't much of a workout, but Stroller Strides was great.

Just sore from not using my muscles for so long!
Start a goal for the month of October - # miles? # of runs? pace? My goals for the month are to run at least once per week and take at least one Stroller Stride class each week. Also, I want to improve my pace by 45 seconds.
I just got back in last week. I have been trying to get back to running but stuff kept coming up. I did an interval 2 mile run/walk yesterday as part of the warm up week on my couch to 5K. I also started doing 30 minute strength workouts on my NTC app. Those hurt a whole bunch but after three of them I am finally starting to feel it get easier.
Anyone else struggling to get back to it? I knew it would be hard but did not anticipated it would be this hard.
I am doing a couch to 5k program. I am shooting for a nice easy turkey trot before thanksgiving. The program has me running 30 miles by the end of the month. Please hold me accountable.
I can get behind the plank challenge. I will start today.
Did 2 miles and a half hour of strength today.
I have never ran with a running club. Heard good things. I know they have a board at my gym for sign up.
