Breast pumps

There are so many out there and I'm a first time mom. Where do I even start to look for a "good" brand

  • Check and see what your insurance covers. That will bring the list down and allow you to look at user reviews on each one.

  • is that insurance thing an American thing only? I'm not sure OHIP covers breast pumps lol.

  • I tested out all of them and went with the one who had the best life like suckling.

  • I would first call your insurance to find out if they cover breast pumps! Mine does. They gave me a list of vendors to choose from then I go online and pick out the one I want. My doctor simply writes a script with the diagnosis code sends it to the vendor and boom free pump! I have a Medela instyle but decided to try Hygia Q this time around! All I could say is do a little research and look up reviews then decide on which one you think would be best for you. They are expensive so you want to be sure you get the one you want.
