So I seem to have reverted back to puberty or my husband is secretly dosing me with steroids, no matter the cause (obviously hormones) the back breakouts have reached a new level! Anyone else experience this and have any tips/pointers for relief???
I exfoliate my back with a Salux cloth (Amazon) & haven't had terrible issues (yet?). My H has terrible backne (just bad luck, no steroids!) and the Salux cloths have worked wonders for him!! If I start having worse issues, I'm going to use a benzoyl peroxide body wash.
Same here! I even tried not using conditioner for a few weeks in the first trimester, but it didn't relieve anything. (Don't worry, I'm back to soft tresses. :P ) I tried to exfoliate, but it seems to exacerbate the problem.
These are what have helped me:
1) Making sure to change my pajamas every night (I usually wear the same ones for a week and then switch on laundry day) and keeping my bed sheets clean (washing every other week) has helped a bit.
2) Once a week, my sister and I use almost half a container of Freeman's Facial Clay Mask: Avocado & Oatmeal on our faces as a normal mask and spot treating my back. It's not super high quality since we found it at WalMart, but it greatly decreases any redness and will usually cut my oil down for a day or so.
I've gone through numerous face scrubs/soaps/creams/au natural methods for my face acne as well, but even my normal routine seems to be destined to fail during this pregnancy.
According to elderly relatives, that means baby is a girl.

All my problems seem to be back related for me these days... Acne, pain, you name it!
