OU Midwives OKC

Anyone else delivering at OU with a midwife in OKC? I have my first appointment Thursday (will be 7w5d) and I'm wondering if they'll do an ultrasound to check for a heartbeat.

    I have been seeing a midwife at OU. she's been great. and yes, I remember at my first appt, she did an ultrasound to get a heartbeat.

    I went the OB route, but I've heard good things about Dustee, but I don't know if she is still there.

    I'm seeing one of the midwives at OU and at my 8 week appointment she did a dating ultrasound to make sure I'm as far along as I thought and I got to see the heartbeat. Good luck to you!

    Dusti is still there.  Shes my current midwife.  I absolutely LOVE her!  I highly recommend you go to a meet and greet.  They do them once a month.  Follow their FB page, the info is more up to date for them.  Best of luck, you'll be in great hands.
