hi ladies! How long will you try to burp the baby in the MOTN before giving up? What about during the day?

    I read somewhere to try for 5 mins before giving up. Take in mind that FF and bottle fed babies take in more air than breastfed babies.

    I try for about 5 mins each time. Usually doesn't take that long. If he doesn't burp then within 30 mins of setting him down he gets fussy bc of gas anyway, so I try again.

    I cut it off at 5 minutes also, but as others said if I give up I often end up trying again soon

    Doctor told me to only try for like 5 minutes too. My LO is a self burper lol. I BF and he will burp while still feeding. I find it hysterical and it gives me the giggles.
