  • Loading the player...
  • Last week I kept up with my walking goals. I did too much late night snacking.

This week I want to keep up the morning/lunch walks and watch my calories. I may throw in a Tracy Anderson video.

Goal is to lose weight, be healthy and feel better about trying for some interviews.

Dog person but we are so allergic to most dogs and cats we aren't around them much. The plan is to adopt a less allergenic dog one day when B is older.

  • Last week: Got a run in, a few walks, attempted indoor soccer (LO was not having it) and played Soccer Sunday!!

This week: Get two runs in, maybe try my long run out :-/ and soccer again on Sunday. We are finally getting less rain! Also work on getting more fruit back in my diet.

Goal: Survive the half marathon in Nov.

Are you a dog person or a cat person?  Or maybe a no-pet-at-all person? I prefer dogs, but I like most critters.

This week:  Same as last week.

Goal:  I'm just trying to be healthier.  It makes me feel better.

Dog.  I'm horribly allergic to cats.

  • Last week:  T25 and Diet!
This week:  Was planning on T25 but I'm having a thing done today that might leave me out of commission for a couple of days.  Diet will be in full effect!
    Goal:  Tone up!
Are you a dog person or a cat person?  Or maybe a no-pet-at-all person
Cats.  I have 2.  I do like dogs but I can't live with them.

  • Sorry -
Lots going on here so I haven't been able or willing to contribute much.

Last week: I haven't been able to do much. In fact, I gave myself a pass for the last almost a month. I've been working out and diligently tracking nutrition since beginning of February. I think I hit the burnout wall and needed to recharge. We also found out some news that made me really worry at our 15 month check. More specifically, my baby had to have surgery. It's a fairly routine surgery, but it's been tough on everyone mentally.
I also got a Metabolic Assessment at the local gym including active and resting as I was suspecting a low metabolism / too much stress on the body since I've been having such a difficult time losing weight. Well, it is fairly low and it does seem that I've been further stressing my body too much. The hard part is I'm not sure where to go from here.

This week: Still not doing much other than our regular walks and healthy eating. I've always been good nutritionally, but I'm starting to track again this week. The good / bad thing is that in a month of no extra gym activity and no tracking I haven't gained or lost a pound and my pants are still lose. Maybe once I start back on a fitness routine next week it will jump start the weightloss process?

Goal: Short term is to start carefully and to treat my body with the rest and respect it deserves instead of killing myself at the gym and sleeping less than required (and it didn't seem to be working anyways). Long term is to lose the blasted 10 lbs I can't seem to shed. And we're trying to conceive again, but I still have no period and I'm still nursing. Sigh. What to do, what to do...

Are you a dog person or a cat person?  Or maybe a no-pet-at-all person? Although I like cats, I would never own one. At least I can't imagine it. I need to go outside and have someone be able to keep up with the long walks / runs. Not to mention, I need to feel safe on those long runs in the dark hours of the early morning during our winters. So only larger dogs for our household.
