Sometimes feels like my cervix is tearing

This is my second child and I never experienced it with my first due to complications and needing to be induced early. I'm 38w4d and last night i was standing and had a contraction but all i could feel was like a horrible shooting/tearing pain in my pelvis or what felt like my cervix. I've been at 2cm dilated for weeks now and can only assume that it was the baby moving down??

It could probably be a lot of things related to the pregnancy. One of those could be the baby moving down.
