Why is my toddler crying: Wednesday edition

1) She dropped an apple. She was eating it while walking but also wanted to hold my hand. The apple was about as big as her head, so obviously her one hand was not going to be able to hold it for long. Cue huge meltdown in the apartment building parking lot.

2) She found one of the big kids' underpants in their cubby and proceeded to take that along with her everywhere at DC. When I picked her up I plucked the pants out of her hand just as the teacher said "I wouldn't do that"....yup, another huge, world-ending cryfest. Kinky, eh?

Oh my God, why isn't Tess crying the last couple days?

-Because she couldn't fit her shoe on my foot

-Because I shouldn't let her unroll all the toliet paper

-Because I wouldn't read Brown Bear Brown Bear for the 4th time when we were already late to work/daycare

Because I didnt help squeeze the pouch from the bottom fast enough. She likes to hold them in the middle...tight. so anything below her fingers doesnt come up when she sucks on it.

Because I put clothes on for the walk.

Because he couldn't walk to me when I was on the couch. (He could. He just felt it was too far to walk so he laid down on the floor instead.)

@haddocky‌ Noah does, too. But I've found a way that sort of locks them into place so at least I'll hear when he's pulling them out.
