Tips for common cold?

So...a coworker came to the office and his wife (also prego) is sick, then he get sick, and against all my precautions I am now sick! With limited meds I can take is there any homeopathic remedies anyone would recommend?? I'm up for anything at this point (especially since it's my birthday on Friday and my hubby has something special planned) thanks!

    Yes what PP said.

    I also take lots of baths and showers when I am sick.  It always seems to help.

    Do you know why homeopathic remedies don't have any side effects? Cause they don't fucking work. Homeopathy is bunk. It is not medicine. Just drink honey and lemon and get through the cold like everyone else.

    Agreed! Honey and lemon will do the trick. Also gargle with warm salt water.

    It sounds weird, but honey and raw garlic help me. I take them together at the first sign of a cold, and usually it doesn't become a full blown one. I'm a crazy person who believes in natural remedies. Maybe it's placebo, but it counts, right??? ;)
