Re-organizing the whole house!

So I figure while I have the energy, I'm going to clean out the guest room in prep for my soon to be 2 year old (October 20th) to get his big boy bed. Can I just say, this was our junk room, so anything and everything I didn't want to deal with, went in there. Oh dear!! I just don't know where to put everything. I don't know how people with children can live in anything smaller. And God Bless you if you are! Anyone else already preparing? I figure, I'm keeping the nursery the same room, all I need to do is change the wall color and get new sheets if this little peanut is a girl.

    I've been too sick and tired to even clean my kitchen :(  Happy for you that you can get some prep-work done!  I'm looking forward to that.

    I never changed my son out of his room when I had my second son. Since he was already going to deal with a lot of change with the new baby I didn't want him to feel that everything was changing for him I felt stability was better for him. We just put a big boy bed in his room and moved the crib to the other room.

    Definitely jealous of all your energy..can't wait til 2nd trimester and I hopefully get mine!

    This! I actually had some energy this morning until about 8:30. Now I'm ready for a nap. If only.

    Yes very jealous of those with energy! Lol It took me all day but I finally dropped my laundry off. I've had to do that lately since going up and down the stairs to the laundry room is not only exhausting but it makes me very sick. I'm having twins and I am just sick ALL day! I like the idea of just moving the crib out to a NEW nursery. These are my first children, but I never thought about how it would effect other children if we had them.

    I keep thinking of the best way to reorganize our house..but won't get to it until December probably. I'm thinking of keeping DD in her room and just getting a twin bed, then moving the crib and everything baby needs into our now guest room. The "guest room"
    will likely be moved to our basement.
