I was leaving the grocery store with the twins yesterday and stopped to put their rain coat hoods up. This woman (an employee) came right up to the cart, uncomfortably close, looked at them for two seconds, and said, "make sure you keep hoods on them babies."
I looked at her for a second and said, "Oh, I will, it sure is starting to get cold!" Then she said, "not what I mean" and walked off with her hands in her pockets.
She didn't smile at all or really look at me, and I had a creepy vibe from the moment I saw her. I'm used to people coming up in my space to see the kids and no one has ever given me that vibe. I rushed the kids into the car and took off.
WTF does that mean?! I wasn't about to ask her, she was way too creepy to be around anymore.
DH thinks she means someone is going to kidnap them, so I'm paranoid now.
