Heading back to the hospital

Well we made an appointment for Reese at her oncologist today. We suspected she needed a transfusion. She needed platelets and hemoglobin. Unfortunately she spiked a fever. A fever is an automatic hospital admission. Her immune numbers are 0 and they won't release her until her immune numbers start to go back up. They are looking at about a week long stay. Again. CHOP needs a wine bar.

    About me  2007: Started TTC. 2008: OB prescribed clomid, went to RE and was Dx with PCOS. 2009: IUI #1 w/follitsim and trigger = BFP. B/G Twins born at 33 weeks. 2012: TTC #3, Round 2 of Letrozole w/TI = BFP, missed m/c at 8 1/2 wks. Currently on the bench as we make plans for a new home. Anxious to start TTC #3 within the next year!

    I'll definitely be thinking of you, Reese, and family. I hope her numbers climb quickly and it's a short stay. And that your sanity is preserved in the meantime!

    Unfortunately because of her non-existent immunity--her doctors are even saying the visit could be upwards of 2 weeks! The first few days, we are stuck in our room though because her immune numbers are 0 and she needs the extra protection.

    Do you have a fundraising site? I follow your FB page but have not seen anything there. A week in the hospital at be so stressful, I want to buy you some wine

    They do. Hopefully they will stop by soon. Reese LOVES the lalaloopsy tinies toys---they travel well since the playsets are so small. I packed a bunch of new ones in the suitcase so that has kept her busy all morning.
