GTKY: Moms of other BMBs

Do you belong to another birth month board from an older child? If so, do you prefer to post more here or there? Or equally? And why?

ETA: I was just thinking about this because the next time I get pregnant, I can't imagine being as emotionally invested in another board as I am this one and was just wondering if it's the same way with those of you and your first board.

I don't think they had bmb's when i had DD. We started an off group. It exploded, some of us started another off group and stay in touch. The original group just recently reconnected on a FB group. It's pretty slow on both groups though. It's different as your kids get older, I think

I haven't posted on my other bmb in months. I didn't want to talk about my pregnancy much over there because several others were TTC and not getting BFPs yet, and most of my questions/thoughts were about the pregnancy and having a new baby, not about having a 1yr old. Now I feel like a stranger and awkward if I want to post anything on my old board. I wish I was more involved there too though.

I was active on my old BMB before I got pregnant, though it was getting slow. Now it is completely dead. The only posts on there are people posting in the wrong spot. (Hi, my H and I DTD last week. Now I'm really thirsty and my head itches...do you think I might be pregnant!? etc.)

I was part of the March '12 bmb but it died out as the kiddos got older, and I don't think I've even checked over there in over 6 months at this point. There was a big exodus to a FB group too, so that didn't help.

I was pretty much a lurker on my old BMB so I look there randomly now but I pretty much live in A14

Not my bmb, but the offshoot FB group. I still post there at least a few times a week. There has been surprisingly little drama for a group of (initially) 150 women. Some people left, for various reasons- I think there are now about 100 of us, maybe 40 post regularly- but it's a great group. I live too far away for meet ups, but plenty of people regularly meet for play dates and are real life friends now. Hoping lightning strikes twice for me!

My December 2010 board was pretty active like this one, but like PP have said once the kids got over 2 there was less to talk about and it died completely as they neared 3. There was also an exodus to FB.

I was part of January 2012 board and I go check it every few months but it is pretty dead over there now. Actually I think there one or two other ladies on A12 that were also on my first BMB but I wasn't really active on that board, and I am sporadically active on this board. I forgot my password for a while and was just reading posts rather than really taking part as I was on leave and just checking on my phone. Apparently trying to track down my log in info was just too much for me lol!

I was on July'11 but never as actively as I have been here- job change helped that one. And that board had more drama than A14.
