Lake Vacations

Hi, ladies! I've been away for about a week. Love coming back to new posts! Wanted to know if anyone can recommend a nice lake to vacation near. H and I aren't beach people, so we can give or take it. We wanted to go somewhere different next year. I looked up the Finger Lakes on vrbo. That's not a bad drive for us. I just wanted to go somewhere where my kids would be entertained by something other than Mom! TIA

    Maine has some gorgeous lakes and vacation spots. Moosehead is where I grew up but too far north, Sebago might be in range, Rangley is great too. I imagine that's too far again though... :)

    I got married in Deep Creek! :) I go up there a few times a year. If you settle on Deep Creek you let me know. I will make sure you hit all the good spots!

    I looked up vrbo.com houses for deep creek. Soooo amazingly awesome. It's a different side of Maryland!  I lived in OCMD for a bit, so that's where I'm used to. It'll be nice seeing the "west coast". It's about 5.5 hrs from me.
