Trouble TTC

2 things: Clomid and Alaskan REs

Alright ladies, I've been reading so much about monitored and unmonitored clomid recently that last night I had an actual nightmare about unmonitored; problem with that is that I'm not sure what the difference is between monitored and unmonitored. I've done my googling and anything I'm seeing just says to make sure you're seeing an RE and are monitored. I've had all my testing done through an OB already and am wondering if there are any gals that have recommendations for REs in Alaska.

Me: unusually short cycles, anovulation, possible tubal issue on right side
DH: Azoospermia, likely not blockage, just doesn't produce any

  • @lemonliz‌, not traumatized, haha, over active dreams run in the family, haha @BlueFairy5‌, great idea for searching the insurance website. Tried that but to no avail, probably mostly because I'm considered an out of network dependent. I'll try some other websites though and see if I can't get a better idea. @iPutKetchupOnKetchup‌, I half hoped you'd respond because you seem to be quite in the know about how bad unmonitored clomid is and what good monitoring would look like. Thanks for the help ladies!

  • I will be totally OOP once we move forward.  Thankfully the testing for IF was covered for me (not so for MH, we have different insurances) but anything after testing is not.
