I need some input on a dress

So my grandmothers surprise birthday party is in a couple weeks and it's semi formal in a country club. It will be chilly so I am thinking about this dress with maybe a long sleeve white onsie/shirt and white leggings and her moccasin boots. Do you ladies think this would be appropriate? There will be some high society people there since my gram has held a public office for a really long time and I am losing my mind over clothing. @majwv8‌ I think you're right. I think this dress is still simple and sweet enough for a toddler but has enough something special for a special occasion.

So cute! I love it. I would probably do a white or cream cardigan on top instead of (or in addition to) a onesie. I have nice cardigans for DD from Old navy and H&M.
