So, my BFF lives in Switzerland, we don't see each other often but try to talk once a week. She has three little girls, and is TTC #4. Last week she was 3 days late but had not POAS yet. I told her to get off the phone and POAS! I didn't want to badger her, so I didn't text her or ask how it went (should I have??) but I was fully expecting an update when we talked yesterday and she didn't say anything!

With the three other pregnancies, she waited until 10-12 weeks to tell me she was KU, but I thought this one would be different because I knew AF was late? Or should I just expect her to wait the 10-12 weeks to tell me?

Or should I have asked her if she was KU? I didn't want to pry, but of course am dying to know...

Help me ladies! What would you do??

She's probably waiting to tell you. I wouldn't outright ask on your next conversation but maybe you could ask indirectly.

I kinda did. She said something about moving next summer and I said "but what if you are having a baby?" and she just said "Yeah".

Is that a confirm? Or just an indication that they are still TTC?

Maybe I'm rude, but if I know you are poas, I'm going to ask the results. Avoiding the question is an affirmative answer in my book. But my two irl girl friends are close and we talk about this stuff all the time. I told both of them annoy each pregnancy before the stock had finished drying, Lol! (With E, my friend in az knew before DH, but don't tell him!)

Hmmm...If I told her to POAS, then my next conversation with her would have started with "Did you POAS?!" I don't think that would be weird since, as you said, you told her to do it and you knew she was late. But that's me.

Also keep in mind that my BFF and I call each other with KU news before we call our own mothers. So take my response with a grain of salt. ;-)

I'd ask, but my BFF and I are like that. She knows about this baby and no one else does (besides all you internet strangers).

If I was MY BFF, I would ask since you told her to POAS. It was kind of the same thing with my DS when I found I was pregnant. I was late and I am always late because my cycle just isn't normal at all. I was talking to her on my way home from work and she told me to buy a test and be sure like I have several other times. I did stop and buy one, POAS and I got positive results. I was soooo shocked I called her right back and said it was positive before I even told my husband.
