Ladies- I have an announcement! @luciddreamer106 has volunteered to take over the check-in, so this will be my last time posting it and she will be our new leader starting next week! Thank you so much for volunteering!! I've really enjoyed posting this for the past several months and getting to know you all, and will continue to update each week until LO makes his or her appearance in the next 2-5 weeks!

@Birch113 Did you try the potassium this week for the leg cramps? I was getting them for a while a month or so ago but then they seem to have stopped for some reason (luckily!).

@stefani103 How was the US yesterday?

@luciddreamer106 V-day, congrats!! And happy belated birthday. Any update on getting into that class that you need?

@SamanthaLaura16 Have you done anything else with the nursery?

@MrsTuna08 How was your shower?? And scan yesterday?

@meagpt22 How are your weekly appointments going, do they think you're making any progress yet?

@megbmeg Were you able to get your flu shot? I just got mine on Saturday and had to call around to 4-5 different places to find the preservative free kind! Also, re- your tip about keeping things that I've done on the to-do list, it does make me feel so much better :-)

@GrailSeeker14 Congrats on being team pink and your great results! (Sorry I forgot to update you to team pink.) When are you planning on announcing?

@haleyusf Hope you're feeling less grumpy this week! I've definitely had to make a real effort to be pleasant lately with others, lol.

@Bigboneded I've been getting something like carpal tunnel too I think, hard to tell if it's that or just swelling, but it's really annoying! Sorry you have it too.

How far along are you? What fruit/veggie are you? 36 weeks, honeydew

How are you feeling? I feel bad complaining when it's not so bad compared to what others deal with. But I'm feeling very large, getting up from sitting and getting out of bed are hard, feet and hands hurt, and I'm a full-time waddler now. And I think the baby has dropped because I feel like I have to pee all of the time, as soon as I stand up from going I feel the pressure like I have to go again immediately.

Favorite moment of the week? A few- I had a work shower last week which was so cute, and I've crossed a lot off of my to-do list and feel much better now! We have a pediatrician, I got my flu shot, scheduled a meeting with a lawyer re- wills, scheduled a tour at a daycare center that actually has Feb availability, finished the nursery, cleaned out my car so we can install the car seat this weekend, and started packing my hospital bag! Phew. Oh and I finalized my birth plan/requests!

Least favorite moment of the week? Last night, H was having a hard time over a difficult family situation. In a nutshell, some of my IL's are incredibly self-centered.

How are your symptoms? Getting better? Worse? Any new ones? Same old, just generally uncomfortable. Oh and since LO is running out of room sometimes baby movement is uncomfortable/painful now too (right now I'm getting kicked in the cervix and I do not appreciate it, lol).

How is PGAL brain treating you? Any T&P requests? OK, I managed through our loss anniversary this past weekend by staying busy and getting things done. I'll always be sad over that loss, but time, distractions, and this LO definitely help to ease the sadness a little.

Any upcoming appointments or milestones you're looking forward to? Appointment on Thursday, I have weekly appointments now.

Thanks so much for all your hard work running this check in @rox825!! Sorry I missed last week... it got a little chaotic around here!

How far along are you? What fruit/veggie are you? 10 weeks - prune

If you’re far enough along, are you having a boy or girl or are you team green? (This is to update the list, so if you’re already on there no need to answer again!) Scheduled our a/s for 12-11!

How are you feeling? I am feeling a bit down lately emotionally (anxiety mostly I'm sure). Physically I have been about the same. Some nausea seems to be lightening up a bit (which then of course has PgAL brain in overdrive)

Favorite moment of the week? My favorite moment of the week was hearing our baby's heartbeat for the first time and getting to see him/her! S/He measured right on track with a heart rate of 155bpm.

Least favorite moment of the week? We took a weekend getaway to our cottage this weekend and being stuck in the car for 5+ hours with a stinky dog does not go over well with my nausea.

How are your symptoms? Getting better? Worse? Any new ones? See above. Some of my symptoms have been coming and going a little lately.

How is PGAL brain treating you? Any T&P requests? PgAL brain is always there for me but trying to stay positive. I have my weekly u/s to check on baby tomorrow at 1:30pm so if you all could spare some t&p's that would be amazing!

Any upcoming appointments or milestones you're looking forward to? U/S every week til 13 weeks, so I am looking forward to seeing/hearing a healthy baby again.

Do you post on other bump boards? Which ones? I post on my BMB for this LO (May15). I also have spent 4 yrs with the ladies of the June 2011 BMB. We have however transitioned over to a mainly Facebook group now but I think it has almost brought us all closer!

Mobile bumping so I'll be short and sweet. 30 weeks! No idea what fruit. Feeling huge but got a few bigger sized things at target today that will help with feeling more comfortable. Appointment was supposed to be this Thursday but they had to reschedule me. With my schedule conflicts, it's not till next Thurs. Hanging in there though! On my way to a mini vacation with my parents, so hopefully that will be fun. Going to a Shaker Village a couple hours from home. Animals, crafts, and a riverboat await! I also frequent D14 and the cloth diaper board. Hope you all have great weeks!

How far along are you? What fruit/veggie are you? 31 weeks, wow! Pineapple

How are you feeling? Big. Slow. Sleeeeepy. Work is really busy right now (so many papers to grade, reports to write, etc.), so I'm just trying to take it one day at a time.

Favorite moment of the week? Finished my grading early enough last night that DH and I could take a nice walk with the dog. It's so simple, but it really felt like a treat.

Least favorite moment of the week? I was just stressing out because I hadn't felt LO moving this morning, and she's usually a ninja after breakfast. So I did my best version of reclining in my office chair, had some water & a string cheese. And waited. That was the worst. But she perked up. Yay!

How are your symptoms? Getting better? Worse? Any new ones?

I feel like they're all adding up a bit more. Nothing too terrible on its own, but altogether I feel more tired and like I'm starting to slow down. 9 more weeks to go (so soon!!), so I suppose that feelings just going to intensify.

How is PGAL brain treating you? Any T&P requests?

Doing okay now that girly is kicking around again. I'm mostly not too anxious, but in my birth class this week, the MW mentioned that the intensity of labor can bring up old traumas. And of course I know that for me and DH that would definitely be our losses. I hadn't really thought about how even this big moment of joy coming up will carry some of that sorrow still.

I post occasionally on my BMB, and reply there pretty often. The lovely @birch113 runs a Pgal check-in there, so I always post there. I also post/reply on Baby Names sometimes and lurk a lot on Cloth Diapering.

How far along are you? What fruit/veggie are you? 25 weeks - cauliflower

How are you feeling? Still feeling good. Feeling sore and huge but dont feel like walking zombie so I cant complain.

Favorite moment of the week? DH has been trying to feel the baby for weeks but it seems like every time he puts his hand on my belly the kicking stops. Well last night after some hot cocoa the baby was going nuts in there and he finally was able to feel him for awhile. It was awesome!

Least favorite moment of the week? I have been trying to be so productive during the weekends but Sunday I had no energy and was starving so I pretty much played around on shutterfly and laid in bed. I hate feeling so worthless but I have to keep reminding myself my body is doing a pretty big job all the time.

How are your symptoms? Getting better? Worse? Any new ones? Still about the same. Feeling larger all the time, heartburn, cant stand to sit for long periods of time and sore.

How is PGAL brain treating you? Any T&P requests? Feeling really good with him being so active all the time.

Any upcoming appointments or milestones you're looking forward to? Next appointment will be next month.

rox825 – Thanks for the checkin! I hope that you are able to enjoy the last few weeks of your pregnancy! Sounds like you have been super productive, awesome job! Sending Big ((Hugs)) your way for your loss anniversary, I am glad you got through it.

No more progress on the nursery for me but we have gotten many other projects done around the house so I am feeling good about that. I am leaving next week for vacation and am hoping to get some shopping in while I’m gone.

meagpt22 – So exciting your little one will be here so soon!! I hope work is not too rough on you.

GrailSeeker14 – Congrats on finding out about your healthy baby girl!! We have had problems finding the baby on the Doppler every time. My 24 week appointment was the first appointment that we got to hear him for more than .2 seconds and even this time after we got a few seconds he ran away. Congrats on announcing! Very exciting!

Courtney1741 – Sending Big ((Hugs)) your way. I hope that your anxiety starts to get better soon. Yay for hearing a great heartbeat!

haleyusf – Have fun on your mini vacation!!

How are you feeling? Fine. (Don't want to jinx it...)

Favorite moment of the week? Ultrasound yesterday! Always love seeing the squirmy boy. I just wish the u/s tech got better pictures.

Least favorite moment of the week? Work.

How are your symptoms? Getting better? Worse? Any new ones? Not sick as often, but when I am, it's pretty bad.

Favorite moment of the week?

I have two! 1)My baby shower was pretty great! It was a co-shower with my sister (who is due with a girl 10 days after me) So the aunties went all out with a Tea Party themed shower. 2) Our growth u/s showed a good looking baby who was 4lb 5oz, which is the 38th percentile! She is head down too! She still has time to flip, but I'm hopeful that she stays on this growth track and stays head down so I can have a vaginal birth.

Least favorite moment of the week?

Lucy the puppy got sick. After worrying over a very sad puppy who woke up at 4am on Thursday we went to the vet later that morning. She ate something naughty and it got stuck in her intestines. Fortunately she was able to pass it on her own eventually and she is fine now, whew. But having a sick puppy is scary. I don't want my kids to get sick, ever, because I just can't deal.

@mrstuna08 I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling tired and huge. It's the worst when I'm walking up stairs. I feel like a slug! I'm sorry to hear about poor Lucy. I'm so glad she didn't need surgery. My in-laws' dog had a terrible habit of stealing and eating socks and he could never manage to get them out again. Despite keeping socks under lock in key, he's had to have 6 or 7 surgeries! Not easy on him or their bank account :-<

I'm still #19 on the waitlist for that class. Boo. But, I did find out the same day that I got into the program, which has way less spots than there are applicants. Hopefully, it will give me an extra leg up to get into that class.

How far along are you? What fruit/veggie are you? 24 weeks, cantaloupe. V-day is here! Yay!

How are you feeling? Moody, sometimes cranky and sometimes excited. It's still in the high 90's here. In October. Yuck.

Favorite moment of the week? My mom came into town for my birthday yesterday and then left today. I had two birthday dinners. One was on Sunday with MH because he had to work last night and then last night with my mom. So yummy. Also, reaching v-day!

Least favorite moment of the week? Nothing that stands out right now.

How are your symptoms? Getting better? Worse? Any new ones? My stomach is shrinking and I need to learn when my eating limit is reached so I don't feel like it's going to explode.

How is PGAL brain treating you? Any T&P requests? Not bad. While I obviously want my little seedling to reach term, it makes me feel a little better reaching this week.

Any upcoming appointments or milestones you're looking forward to? My next OB appointment is next Monday.

Hey everyone- sorry I had to post & run earlier, work has been pretty busy lately trying to get things finished up over the next few weeks so it's harder to find time to reply! But I'm reading everyone's updates and will reply tomorrow :-)

How far along are you? What fruit/veggie are you?  24 weeeks! Canteloupes!! :-)
How are you feeling?  Mostly good, a little more easily aggravated, I find.... I got really PO'd the other day over some potential slight ( that may not have happened partly because of my tantrum ;-) ) and tonight at work, I was ready to leave at midnight... my shift goes until 8AM
Favorite moment of the week?  Finding the cat, who trapped himself (with a little help from my husband) in the linen closet! He went in the open door and it got shut a little later- near as we can tell. He must have just settled in to sleep, because he didn't make any noise until he didn't show up for breakfast anad I started calling him and heard a faint little meow :-) that was funny!

Least favorite moment of the week?  still waiting to hear if I have my job- goofy gov't. I will get a certified letter, either way, and it still hasn't arrived- so far, I still have my job ;-) and getting a notice that I missed a court date (that I was still waiting to get a letter about when it was) so my license will be suspended for 4 months (I hate this state a LOT of times)!

How are your symptoms? Getting better? Worse? Any new ones?  I keep having pains in my right upper abdomen when I lay down to sleep, my mother says it's gall bladder- so not looking forward to that getting worse- I need to go to the vitamin store and get some Lecithin, I guess. otherwise, occasional heartburn (not so bad) and carpal tunnel is often bad. Hurts to clench my hand and makes opening things tricky...

How is PGAL brain treating you? Any T&P requests?  Had a little concern that I am only feeling one sided kicks and such- then I think, how dumb, I told EVERYBODY I am having twins- what do I do if one is gone?!?!.... but I think that it's just how the placenta lays- I have another ultrasound 10/15, looking forward to seeing babies then ;-) and I can check heartbeats here at work, so i might....

Any upcoming appointments or milestones you're looking forward to? Ultrasound 10/15, will see how babies are growing! they were a little ahead of the curve last visit, so I hope they still are on track to be big! Less chance of NICU time :-)

Do you post on other bump boards? Which ones?  I hardly ever start discussions, because of being flamed before... But I contribute to threads, alot! And I do lurk for advice and love tit a bunch! my BMB- Jan 15, which I like. Pregnant over 35, PGAL (of course), Multiples, occasional trimester board peeks. And Plus Size Mums group. But not with any real regularity. I try to get here every Tuesday and check around.... usually mobile, which make looking back at discussions tricky- and then I don't want to go too far back and revive done stuff.....

@Courtney1741 My ms definitely lessened around 9-10 weeks and was mostly gone by ~11 weeks. ((hugs)) I know that drives a PGAL brain crazy!

@SamanthaLaura16 I'm so glad YH could feel LO! It's such a special thing to be able to share!

@megbmeg Ooooh I hope we don't have to end up in surgery land with Lucy! She ate stones and plywood that she found behind the shed, sigh. So DH is putting up chicken wire this weekend to keep her out of there and she is no longer allowed unsupervised visits to the backyard. FX that she learned her lesson...

@Birch113 I'm glad you got a visit from your FIL but I'm sorry to hear that he is going through such a rough time.

@luciddreamer106 Thanks for taking over the check-in! Happy V-Day! And Congrats on getting in to your program, that's wonderful news!!!

@Bigboneded Our kitties like to run into the crawl space if we leave the door open for any length of time. They refuse to come out when called, so sometimes they just get shut in there for a bit. It's usually food time that brings them out

@meagpt22 It must be exciting to wake up every day thinking, maybe this is it! Glad you're making progress!

@megbmeg I wish that my OB carried it, you'd think that they would! But nope, my PCP didn't have it either. Luckily I was able to find it at Target. I also hate it when LO goes through quiet periods, I'm so used to feeling movement all of the time now that it really freaks me out.

@GrailSeeker14 Cute announcement! It's a great time of year for pumpkin-themed pregnancy stuff :-) I also had the digestive issues during 1st tri, like my body just wasn't digesting anything ever and I was *always* full to the point of feeling sick. Eventually it got better!

@Courtney1741 Congrats on a great US, T&P for today, let us know how it goes.

@haleyusf I hope that you have a great time on vacation with your parents!

@SamanthaLaura16 I also spent some time in bed on Sunday watching some Julia Roberts chick flick, sometimes you just have to take a break and be lazy :-) Have a great vacation!

@stefani103 Glad you had a great appointment yesterday!

@MrsTuna08 Glad you loved your shower, how fun that you were able to have one with your sister! Also glad that Lucy is feeling better, I also hate when the furbabies are sick, it's so sad to watch.

@Birch113 I also had to start wearing more supportive shoes, maybe that's part of what made the cramps stop? Who knows. Sorry our FIL is going through a tough time.

@luciddreamer106 How nice that your mom was able to visit for your birthday! At 36 weeks I still haven't learned my food limit, lol.

@Bigboneded Glad that you found your cat and that the experience wasn't too traumatic

Just wanted to stop in for a quick update for you guys!! U/S went great!! Baby was measuring right on track at 10w1d. We got to watch the heart flicker but couldn't hear it due to an older ultrasound machine that didn't have that capability! Another sigh of relief! Fx for our next u/s on Tuesday!
