Do you play music throughout the day for your LO? Id like to do this more but need help with fun, developmental and some classics we can sing together as she gets older!
Truly anything!!! I prefer better quality music - I'm not a huge fan of "kids songs"/ kids bop type just because it's not good quality. But really, surrounding your baby with music, just like you surround LO with your language/talking is what matters.

I turn everything into a song during the day lol for now I put on my music we sing and dance but when he's older I'm sure I'll have to play him some kid appropriate music. For bedtime I play lullaby renditions of Pink Floyd, they have them for other artists as well.
Teach your baby to like the music you do. Things will be so much better down the road. In the car DS requests (demands?) My Playlist and won't let DH play his.

We have a couple fisher price cds that my mom bought that has all of the classic kid's songs on them. We have fun listening to those and I don't feel bad about my awful singing voice. We also listen to some classical on a radio channel I put on our roku. Mostly we just listen to whatever is on the radio.

I agree with this. We never did kids' music with our 9-year-old. He just listened to whatever we did. Now he has a huge playlist on his iPad and it is mostly the type of music DH and I listen to.
So we are following suit with DD because we kind of have to. DS is always playing his music so she has no choice but to listen to it. Her current favorites are Happy by Pharrell and Katy Perry's Dark Horse.
When she and I are home alone together I put on whatever I am in the mood for. I also sing to her about what I am doing and sing lullabies to her as well. Her favorite is Twinkle Twinkle.
I went to the library and got out a ton of CDs, then uploaded them all to my ITunes. We listen to that, my regular music, and the radio during the day.
With me DS listens mostly to country. With DH, DS listens to lots of random stuff like 80's music, Queens of the Stone Age, Neil Young. A wide variety really. We do have some kids cd's but DH refuses to listen to them.
We have an ultimate Disney playlist that we listen to. It has everything. The best part is all of the old theme songs to Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers, Gummy Bears, Duck Tales... Stuff I used to watch when I got home from school. He likes it because I tend to sing along and dance with him. It has become part of my shower routine. Put him in the exersaucer, put on playlist, sing and dance while showering. He thinks it's funny.
