Crib with Changer Questions..

Hey Ladies...I am 18 weeks and trying to decide on the type of crib I want. I know its early...Im a planner I cant help it lol.
Anyways...I think I want a 4-in-1 Convertible Crib with changer attached. Silly question is what do we do with the Changer once the crib is converted to a full size bed? Also, have any of you purchased these and what are your thoughts? Thanks in advance!

    We have a combination crib with changer. I believe the changer converts to a table/small dresser, though I think it looks sort of silly. I personally don't care about converting the crib to a full size bed in the future. We needed the combo due to lack of space.

    We've generally been pleased with DS's crib. We got the Graco Lauren 4-in-1, and it's sturdy. The finish is a bit beat up in spots if you're looking closely (we didn't get a teething rail), but I wasn't buying heirloom furniture and from a distance it still looks great. We've used the changing table for about 95% of DS's diaper changes, and he's never tried to climb out of the crib onto the changing table (which I worried about for a while). However, he can reach the top drawer of the changing table from inside the crib and when he gets mad has been known to throw the changing pad and the contents of the drawer on the floor.

    My personal oppinion is changing tables are a waste. Spend the money on a good dresser and put a changing pad on top of it. Will be way more useful for way longer.

    Here's a picture of our changing area. Sorry if picture is grainy - took it in the dark with flash while I'm nursing. This is a bookcase/shelf from ikea. The top 2 teal pull puts hold our diapers (we cloth) and the clear tote (top right) holds our cloth wipes, diaper cream, etc.

    Issue, we have a small space, which is why We were looking at the crib with changer attached. Also, we already have a nice dresser for the baby's room, but its too high to put a changing pad on.

    Had the one from babies r us with our first DD, but we never converted to a full size bed. The changer/dresser comes off and stands alone. the crib did inculde extra parts to for the headboard and foot board but not the side rails needed to convert.
