Miss Lucy's birth story (better late than never) PIP

I know it's taken me quite a while to post this, but I have been slightly preoccupied over the last week and haven't been online at all really.

I went in for induction 6am on 9/25, Pitocin was started by 7:30. By 9am I was really feeling the contractions, but I was able to hold out several more hours before getting the epidural. Baby girl took her sweet time. I progressed very slowly to begin with and there were a few times I really thought they were about to call a C-section. I had a pretty good scare toward the end, when they changed my position and her heart rate dropped for 3 minutes. Thankfully, it came back up and stayed up.

After 19hours of labor and 2 hours of pushing, Lucy Katherine was finally born @ 3:13am on 9/26 weighing in at 6lbs 6.4oz and 18inches. We had such amazing care during our stay in both Labor and Delivery and Post Partum, and I have to say, my nursery coworkers are the greatest!!!! We went home Saturday 9/27 and I have been enjoying getting to know my little one!
