just posting some links to my disney pictures incase anyone wanted to see them- for those not on IG
there's a lot
just a few words about our trip
she was much better than i expected on the flight down...she was amused by the take off, and laughed the whole time...while i sat white knuckled next to her...we got window seats in the last row so she sat with dh....she fell asleep during the descent and while we taxied and woke up while we were waiting for baggage....
she wasn't a huge fan of being in her stroller, and it was crazy hot/humid when we got there and we couldn't find our car....needless to say tempers flared quite a bit....but we eventually got to our hotel and got a bite to eat....then hit the parks for the halloween party....we saw the line for mickey was like, 10 mins so we waited...and it was the talking mickey...and she was SO EXCITED to meet him! she almost jumped out of my arms....she was so good with him! it was awesome
we watched the parade and went on pirates of the carribean...which she seemed to like, but kept standing up....then we went to see mickey's philharmagic and we had to leave the stroller outside....came out to POURING rain...and i did not have a stroller cover...so, the stroller was soaked...so we made our way through the rain carrying her and pushing a soaking stroller...stopped to splash in some puddles and she passed out in the car on the way back to the hotel
the next day we had breakfast with winnie the pooh and friends and she loved them too! don't need to into detail about every day....but all the character meals we had went great...she was so super excited to meet "first" and we met wreck it ralph too....and we went back to the magic kingdom at night time during the night parade and fireworks, and there was no wait to meet minnie, daisy, goofy and donald in the big top area and we were the only people in there so we just put her down and she RAN to minnie and daisy...she was so excited...it was so cute...then we headed to anna and elsa and the wait was only like, 15 mins! it can reach up to 3 hours during the day....i was so excited...and she loved meeting them...and she totally got the hang of handing off the autograph book too....
besides the super hot humid rainy disgusting weather...we had a great time....she fought us getting into the car seat, she fought us going into the stroller....she really didn't have any spectacular tantrums while there...and really, nothing more than she would have done while we were at home anyway....it helped to have baggies of goldfish to distract her and coax her into the stroller....or puffs....or "ah pops" (lolly pops) also helped to have glow sticks (cheap in the dollar spot at target)....she fought her naps/napped late, but she does that with us at home anyway...she fought us about high chairs (does that anyway) so she was good with standing/sitting on the chairs/booths....she was actually really good with the fireworks too.....i have a video where we're watching them and she keeps saying "oh goodness!" it's adorable....we didn't do many rides, but what we did do she seemed to enjoy.....
we went to universal and dh did the transformers ride which he said was amazing....and we went to diagon alley which was....i dunno...i didn't even realize how hot and disgusting it was out....that's how awesome it was....we didn't take the train to hogsmeade, i would have liked to, but we didn't want to stay in the parks all day....and then we headed over to the simpons area which they really did up a lot since the last time we were there...and it was so cool to see things from the show brought to life (the simpsons is one of the reasons we met)
it was a great trip....so glad we went....she seemed to have fun and does keep saying "minnie hug" or "mickey honk" (she kept grabbing all their noses) or castle....or when we watching frozen or wreck it ralph and the castle shows up she'll say "castle! mickey!" not sure what i expected to happen during the trip, so i can't say it didn't go well..i mean besides the weather, i think it was good...we didn't get to the pool or anything, but that's ok....we have tons of great pictures and memories and i'm glad we went.....
sorry, just one pic in the post...this is probably one of my faves from the photo pass
