We're pregnant -- let's meet up!

Hi friends, I'd love to join/start a support group for our pregnant selves :). My name is Amy, I live in Norwalk, and I'm 11 weeks pregnant for the first time. I'm open to any suggestions/tips from mom pros. If you're reading this, I'd love to meet up! I'm willing to drive a bit around Fairfield county because I'd really love to connect with other expectant moms. As more people join, we can be totally flexible about where to meet/what to do (personally I love walking, Pilates, cross stitching, etc, and we could incorporate any of these activities (or any others, or none of them! And just get a cup of decaf). Thanks for reading. Looking forward to hearing from you! Amy

    There is a Once Upon a Child in Milford.  That is a consignment shop chain with 5 locations in CT.  There are also several other stores that are not chains.

    Thanks so much for your message! Sorry for the delayed response -- I'd almost given up hope of meeting anyone! Thanks for your willingness to drive...Tuesday nights will work fine! I'd love to hear a little more about you/your pregnancy or children. On weeknights, I generally could be free from 6-9. Let me know what works for you. Any other expecting moms? Please chime in!!

That may be useful to really keep in touch efficiently. Please feel free to drop me a line with what time during the week would be good for you and any other details you'd like to share. I'm hoping to hear from more expectant moms but I also don't want to wait indefinitely -- so if you're game to meet up this week or weekend, I'd love it even if it was just us two for now. If it was convenient for you to meet up while you're still in fairfield co, that will be nice. If not, maybe we can meet in the middle somewhere. Looking forward to hearing from you again!

    Hi! I'm 10 weeks pregnant with my first. I live in Greenwich. I travel to/from the city every day for work so weekdays don't really work out for me. But I'd love to get together on the weekend :)

    Excellent! So glad to see some more ladies! Here's my basic plan. Since I'm not sure who really wants to do what, I'm just going to suggest a couple dates and places. Please, anyone who is serious about meeting, let me know if something else works better for you.

    My personal first choice: Thursday the 23rd at some coffee shop or such in Fairfield or Westport at 6 or 7pm

    Tuesday the 28th, same location

    Saturday the 25th in Darien at 9

    Anyone, if a place works for you but not a time or date (or any combination of those), please let me know what works.

    I'm getting excited! Let's make this happen!

    Hello! I'm newly pregnant 8 weeks with my first! Im 38 and am keeping it hush hush. We just got married 2 weeks ago. I live in Stamford but work in NYC -- I coyld do a weekend meetup. Cassie

    @bouchaee need to figure out how to change settings to notify me when I get a message. I got some pretty scary news that my baby has a 25% chance of having a genetic issue. I take the test at Greenwich Hosp this Wed but results don't come back till mid to end of Jan. I have to hold off on meet ups till then to keep me together. Cassie

    Hello! Just found this thread and curious to see if y'all have planned any meetups. I'm a FTM and about 7 wks. We just moved to CT and don't know many people yet. Since we haven't told anyone about our pregnancy yet (waiting until at least after my first appointment) it would be great to have some fellow mommies to be to meet up with! I am in Redding so any of those Fairfield county locations work for me.

    I just found this board too! I'm also a FTM and I just hit 6 weeks yesterday and my husband and I haven't told anyone yet! I live in Weston and I'd love to meet up! My schedule is pretty flexible in the evenings.

    @kc061276 I'm so glad to hear it! Sorry I wasn't on the bump for the last several months, but I'm back on at 36 weeks and feeling anxious and excited about my son's arrival! I go on maternity leave on May 1. I'm trying to finish my grad school work before the baby's born, so I've been busy on weekends reading and writing papers. If you still wanna meet up, I'd love to find a time. Let me know :)
