So we are done with purees and are on all table food. DS was doing great up until about a week ago...he would eat just about anything we put on his tray. Now anything that is remotely healthy for him-mostly fruits and vegi'- he'll put in his mouth and spit right back out. How are you getting your little ones to eat their fruits and vegi's?! Are you seasoning the vegi's? Let me in on your secrets

My LO just started spitting out food for fun. I guess she figured out she is able to. She was randomly spitting out yogurt then pushing it back in her mouth. Repeat each meal the whole week.
I am in the same boat! My girls were fantastic eaters - they ate EVERYTHING. Suddenly, in the course of about 3 days, all they want to eat is bread, cheese, meatballs, and any type of cracker. They will put a veggie in their mouth and just spit it back out. Haley picks up each carrot and throws it off her tray. Lizzy is more sneaky and tries to hide it down by her bum in the seat. They used to LOVE carrots and squash and peas and even spinach.
I'm hoping its a phase. I keep offering it to them hoping they'll just pick it up again. I thought I had awhile before the picky food phase started.
