Symptoms: Tired by the middle of the afternoon. Sore along the point where the inner thigh and hip joint meet, maybe because things are expanding down there? Still sore along the rib cage where my bra elastic goes. Overall, normal 3rd Trimester of pregnancy stuff.
Updates/appointments/AW: Next Appointment on Monday. Finished our child birth and child care classes and toured the hospital. We are now as ready as well will be for this baby.
GTKY: Favorite Movie? Philadelphia Story

Me: 36, DH: 38, Together since: 2006, Married: 9/2011 **TW Living Child**
EED/Weeks: 11/22 - 33 weeks!
Symptoms: Big, tired and grumpy. Heartburn and sinus issues. My back still hurts like a mofo.
Updates/appointments/AW: Had an appt and sono on Wednesday - baby girl looks great. She's flipped to breech though (weird since shes been head down for a while now). My blood pressure was through the roof (157/97) so they are having me come back in on Tuesday. The dr didn't seem super concerned since I'm not swelling or getting headaches. He seemed to think it was stress and anxiety which doesn't surprise me. I'm just glad DH was there to hear him say that I need to slow down and chill the F out. Lots of naps in my future! I have my work shower this Sunday so that'll be fun!
GTKY: Favorite Movie? I don't think I have one single favorite. There are a few I could watch over and over again though - Anchorman, Stepbrothers, etc.
Symptoms: Sore hips, constipation, heartburn, trouble sleeping, the throat lump, I just keep reminding myself it could be worse...
Updates/appointments/AW: All was well at the last appointment, next one is on the 13th and then I go weekly... yikes! And the 17th is the day we can go to the birth center when labor starts... it's getting pretty real. So much left to do...
GTKY: Favorite Movie? This is a tough one... I have tons of movies I love but I'm completely drawing a blank on a favorite So a few favs are Emma, Death to Smoochy, Unbearable Lightness of Being, Love Actually.
Symptoms: Same old third tri symptoms. Getting more uncomfortable all the time. Excited though because the end is nearing.
Appt. Had two last week. Adjusted my glyburide, gd is doing better. Got an ultrasound with a few 3d shots of Lunas face. It was awesome and she's doing great. Have another appt. next week and we'll start nst's, then another growth ultrasound in three weeks.
Favorite movie. Awe man too many, but some favorites include: shawshank redemption, tombstone, nightmare before Christmas, swing time, white Christmas. hmm yea
Warning
No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml
EED/Weeks: 32 weeks / Squash. Due date will hopefully be somewhere near Nov. 14th
Symptoms:
Stiff joints in my hands, feet swelling (water helps, though), hip and back pain (thankfully not constant). All minor stuff, but it is starting to add up to one very uncomfortable mama. Mentally, I am so worn down. DH has made comments about not knowing how I am going to make it working through October, so I'm hoping my stubbornness and determination to get more time with babies after they are born wins out over discomfort. Updates/appointments/AW:
I AW'd this on the random thread, but found out the twins flipped vertex (head down). This is excellent news considering (if they stay down) I can try for a vaginal birth...except I had it so set in my mind that they weren't going to flip and I was an automatic CS that I'm feeling totally unprepared for that. Dr says he supports me either way, so that made me feel better.
GTKY: Favorite Movie? It really depends on my mood. My favorite overall genre is suspense/horror movies, but I don't think any one of them is really my favorite (especially because a lot of them are cheesy). I have a special place in my heart for Sweet Home Alabama (even though I've seen it a hundred times) and 13 Going on 30. My favorite movies to quote are probably Step Brothers, Anchorman or Grandma's Boy. Oh, and I LOVE old musicals (Doris Day, anyone?) but no one needs to know that. Right?
N14 Nov. Siggy: CELEBRATION!

Special callout to my fab labor buddy @DoubleUp8 - let's go Giants and Orioles! \:D/
EED/Weeks: 11/21 - 33 weeks - durian fruit (stinky!)
Symptoms: Feeling pretty good overall - more pressure in my pelvic area which is being made worse by LO punching me in the vagina all day long.
Updates/appointments/AW: I've had a rough week with blood pressure. I had one high reading at my OB appnt this week and they almost sent me to L&D for monitoring. Luckily, it came down and all my blood work was also normal with no protein in my urine after two different tests. I'm now taking my blood pressure at home 2x/day. However, my machine kept getting error messages and we went to 4 different labs to see if they could help figure it out (no one could) before ending up back at my OB office. Apparently, for an accurate reading, we'll need to subtract 10 from the bottom number and add 10 to the top. So annoying but glad we figured it out - it's been stressful though to say the least!
GTKY: Favorite Movie? This is hard so I'm going to pick my favorites from a few decades:
80s - Say Anything, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Splash
90s - Pulp Fiction, Clueless, Good Will Hunting
Early 2000s - Almost Famous, Zombieland, Kill Bill, Mean Girls
Most recently - Silver Linings Playbook, Her, Boyhood
Symptoms: Same: sciatica & insomnia. New: BP headaches...boo
Updates/appointments/AW: I was in L&D Monday for elevated BP. Luckily no pre-e, but we're watching things closely. Baby girl is being lazy lately and likes to scare me . Next appt on 10/14.
GTKY: Favorite Movie? Oh gah, Idk that I can pick just one!! The Harry Potter series is one that I'm always willing to watch . lol

@absolutelymaybe Awesome, they flipped!! I hope everything goes well and you can go vaginal.
EDD/Weeks. Nov. 28.. 32 Weeks. I can't believe it's October already.
Symptoms: The weird hip grinding is getting better, but I'm still going to call the chiropractor next week to set up an exam/adjustment. My coworkers can now see I'm in the "big and grumpy" phase..
Updates/appointments/AW: Have an appt on Monday, so hopefully we'll see that she's left side anterior. I feel like she's rotating and flipping sides every day, though. It makes me nervous.
Favorite movie. Cartoon? Aladdin. Comedy? Bridesmaids. There are too many action/dramas to decide on that one.
Symptoms: huge feet.... So uncomfortable and just feeling large all the time. Same "I'm 8 months pregnant" symptoms.
Updates/appointments/AW: had my 34 week appointment this week and everything is looking good. They don't give me a ton of information, but after my 36 week appointment, I'll start going weekly! Eek!
GTKY: Favorite Movie? @zengal I always say Princess Bride too!
Symptoms: Hip and sciatic pain (still). My uterus has finally gotten to the point where it's constricting my stomach, so meals are smaller and more frequent (as is heartburn). The rolls he's doing are seriously uncomfortable. Updates/appointments/AW: My OB cancelled an appointment this week (I thought we were rescheduling, but when I showed up they told me it was just cancelled), but was fortunately able to get me in a few days later. My fundal height is right on track, weight gain is normal, and heart rate was great. I tried to get my flu shot there, but they don't have them yet. I also set up all of the appointments from now until my due date!
GTKY: Favorite Movie? Monty Python and the Holy Grail. I've seen it so much that I laugh before the funny parts even come on!
Symptoms: Um... I'm losing my mucus plug. I've also been a little crampy and had some digestive issues for the last week or so. Other than that, things are fine!
Updates/appointments/AW: BP was higher than normal at Tuesday's appt., but I explained that it was an insane week at school. I ended up taking a half day yesterday and a full day today because the stress was starting to get to me, and my stomach was torn up. I finally got an appt. this week with my principal to discuss my maternity leave. We still have no sub or paperwork filled out, and I'm starting to panic a little.
GTKY: Favorite Movie? This is a toughie. I suppose I like the new Sherlock Holmes movies with Robert Downey Jr. I also was thinking about how much I love Like Water for Chocolate today.
Symptoms: Ugh heartburn nooooo. Awful. Also no appetite, but endless carb cravings. Reasonably comfortable otherwise! Which I feel a little guilty about saying, but also super pleased about since I had a lot of pelvic pain with my boys. It kind of comes and goes now, but at least it goes! Not nearly as bad as I've had. We'll see once she drops if I'm hobbling.
Updates/appointments/AW: Not much! Midwife had to cancel my last appointment. Don't really care because everything has been good at all my appts so far.
GTKY: Favorite Movie? Oooooooooh... gosh, there are too many choices depending on genre. Probably The Princess Bride, though. Or Indiana Jones.
Symptoms: Had some back pain last night that wasn't fun. And I think I might be getting a cold. Not sure yet. Updates/appointments/AW: Endocrinologists office told me to get my after breakfast numbers in check or they'd have to look at putting me on medication. They are being super strict with my numbers. I thought 1 or 2 over a few times was doing pretty decent. They apparently didn't. GTKY: Favorite Movie? No doubt, Goonies!
Symptoms: High bp, sore back from laying around, tired, and heartburn
Updates: I had a 2 day stay in the hospital due to my elevated bp. They also bumped up my MFM appointment. He is concerned with my bp being so high that he doesn't want to wait for the growth scan. I could be having a baby by next week!
GTKY: Hmmm...I love Sleepy Hollow, Sleeping Beauty, Maleficent, and Mel Brooks movies.
Symptoms: Utter and complete exhaustion, insomnia and my carpal tunnel is getting worse. The heartburn is still out of control and my stomach feels so constricted that if I eat anything bigger than a piece of toast it feels like I've stuffed myself on an 8 course meal. I guess it's a good thing my appetite has gone away.
Updates/appointments/AW: I had a follow up ultrasound to check the placement of my placenta and it moved up. The fibroid that was in a potentially problematic spot hasn't grown, so that's good. I'm measuring 3 weeks ahead. Next appointment is this coming Thursday.
GTKY: Favorite Movie? Probably Pretty in Pink. And, as embarrassing as it is, whenever they play Independence Day on TV, I have to watch it. I don't know why. SO thinks I'm crazy.
Symptoms: Nothing new. My appetite is starting to improve a bit, YAY, hoping that is reflected in my and LO's weight gain numbers. Oh and the baby is in an entirely new position after being vertex, LOA for weeks. I'm hoping he's still head down just ROA instead of LOA but I doubt it.
Updates/appointments/AW: Had my baby shower last Sunday. It was super fun, I ended up crying twice (and I am NOT the girl who cries, like never). I have a checkup on Monday as well as an ultrasound to monitor the IUGR. FX that this baby has fattened up.
GTKY: Favorite Movie? Gosh, I love so many, but they are too embarrassing to list here. I love action (the Die Hard early series in particular) and cheesy rom-coms.
Symptoms: Indigestion...so much of it. Yuck. I've been super itchy and just uncomfortable too.
Updates/appointments/AW: I start my weekly doctor's appointments next week. Whaaaaaa?? I also had a great shower last weekend and have another tomorrow. So much fun!!
GTKY: Favorite Movie? Hook, Drop Dead Fred, Fox and the Hound. I'm seriously a child at heart. This is one of the reasons I'm so excited for my little girl to be here because I will have someone to watch them with me.
@FhSTAR81...Dirty Dancing was filmed an hour from my house. My mom grew up on that lake.
@shan24...Independence Day is my DH's most favorite movie.
Symptoms: all the terrible ones that I've complained about the last few weeks!! And now add occasional contractions. Blah!
Updates: dr appt Monday went well. Apparently they are predicting a long painful labor due to my cervix being so tightly closed... I'm wondering if these early pains I'm feeling are the very beginnings of it starting to soften and open.
Movie: probably High Fidelity and both Hunger Games movies
EED/Weeks: November 28/ squash baby
Symptoms: heartburn is back BP is good, but I'm seeing spots when I get exhausted. OB says it's not pre-e; instead she's diagnosing me as "pregnant."
Updates/appointments/AW: great appointment on Monday. Measuring spot on, her heartbeat is good. Appointment was so quick it was scary!
GTKY: Favorite Movie? @absolutelymaybe I loooove Doris Day!
My top three have been set for decades: Wizard of Oz, Dead Poets Society and An Affair to Remember (if Cary Grant wasn't dead, I'd be all over him.)
TGIF!!!!
I tell my husband that same thing about Cary Grant! (Between the fact that Cary Grant is dead and that he was gay, my husband feels pretty secure in our marriage!)
