2. Any medical updates (appointments, ultrasounds, tests/results, etc.)? Find out sex tomorrow!

3. How are you feeling lately? Tired, forgetful, blah. Lol.

4. QOTW: Aside from stuff on here... went to Walmart while DD was in PreK and sat in the parking lot for half an hour trying to remmeber what I needed... Never did and left. Bonus- didn't have to go into Walmart! lol, negative- still haven't remembered.

I'm not sure how I missed this until now, woops!

1. 38.5 weeks.

2. C-section THIS Thursday!!!

3. Tired. Crampy. I am having contractions that get closer and closer (no closer than 10 minutes ever) and then they stop for six hours. So I think she's gearing up, but no real labor yet.

4. I am forgetting everything. I had DDs snack for preschool (we have to bring snack for the whole class once a month) in the back of my car last week. And I forgot to take it inside. I feel really bad, luckily they always have a backup but I completely forgot. It wasn't until DH saw it in the back of the car over the weekend that I realized I had forgotten!

@cerad5 I cannot believe it is already here!!! What an exciting week!!! I will be keeping you in my thoughts that everything goes well and can't wait to hear updates!!!

@cerad5‌ - good luck on Thursday!!!

1. 38 weeks
2. Just had an appt today and dr said I was still fingertip dilated. Next appt is supposed to be in a week but they couldn't schedule me in until next Thursday so I am a little annoyed about that!
3. Feeling fine, just the random Braxton hicks contraction, nothing more. After nearly a week of barely sleeping, for the past couple of nights I have been sleeping better, thank goodness!
4. Haven't really had a problem with this, it is more like I have been procrastinating with certain things. Finally packed a hospital bag the other night and just yesterday picked up some newborn diapers!

It's another long story from me this week I'm afraid! I am 34 weeks as of this last Sunday though which I'm excited about! So last Thursday I started getting contractions about 8 minutes apart. I did the whole eat, drink, sleep thing and then I felt better for a while. I woke up in the middle of the night with sporadic contractions that would come and go. Sometime they were 6-8 minutes apart sometimes I would go 45 minutes without one. I called the OB office Friday morning and went in for the whole nine yards. They did a pelvic exam, checked heart rates, and measured me and everything looked good. (Measuring 39 weeks and a fingertip dilated.) They hooked me up to the monitors and couldn't get a good read on the babies but at one point I was having contractions 2-3 minutes apart although they weren't too strong. They needed a good read on the babies before giving me Procardia so off to the hospital for more monitoring. They hook me up there and still cant get babies on the monitors but leave the monitors on me while waiting for a resident to do a BPP (bio-physical profile). She comes in and does the ultrasound and doesn't see Baby A practice breathing. Now we have to wait for an ultrasound tech to repeat the BPP and in the meantime she is going to check me and get a few swabs. It hurt so bad when she checked me! But she left the room saying she would be right back and I never saw her again. They had taken me off the monitors to do the BPP and the swab so now they put me back on while I wait for the ultrasound tech and I ask about my contractions. Have they slowed down at all? How many have I had? They don't know because they forgot to plug it in but they don't need to monitor my contractions anyway....? Next BPP shows no issues so the nurse tells me the resident needs to look at the results, talk to my doctor and then I'll just go home. I mention they had said I would go home on Procardia if all my results were normal and she was confused because I was already on this medication....nope never taken it in my life, that's why I came here!! After three hours of waiting for the resident to make a phone call the nurse walks in says your good to go, get dressed and you can leave. They didn't prescribe anything just go home and come back if your water breaks or there is enough blood to look like a period. Didn't get written discharge instructions, sign anything, nothing. So I go home and continued they cycle of on and off contractions all weekend until my appointment Monday morning (day 5 of contractions). Apparently at the hospital they were supposed to send me home with the Procardia and an anti-biotic for an infection that I have which was probably causing the contractions. (They told me all the test results were normal.) Needless to say I will be calling the hospital to complain about all this crap. I got prescribed the antibiotic and I am waiting a few days to see if the contractions stop when the infection goes away before starting the Procardia. (Still dilated only a fingertip on Monday.) On a better note, the growth of the babies is better and they are now 5lbs0oz and 5lbs 11oz! So we are all hoping that babies cook for at least two more weeks. Also now baby A is breech so that will give her some time to turn.

@lcloffredo‌ hospital screwed rip before and was running tests for pregnancy (no chance I hell back then) and turns out I had viral meningitis that they missed and wasn't diagnosed until I went to a different hospital on my death bed after being sent home by the stupid hospital a second time. I am sorry so many issues! I know that is scary w all that has gone on!!! I am glad the babies are growing nicely and rooting for another couple weeks!!!

I am 19w5d. Baby measuring two days early.

2. Any medical updates (appointments, ultrasounds, tests/results, etc.)?

I had my second trimester ultrasound today. It went well. However, the placenta is "close" to the cervix. It is not covering it in any way, but they said that it is closer than what they would like to see. I actually had it done with a peri, due to my age. We are considering amnio, however, they wanted to wait a few days because I have had some spotting. Im torn on whether or not I want to do the amnio or now, but they seemed to suggest that while I am considered low risk, I may want to get it done anyway. I walked out feeling confused.

At any event, baby is fine. Measuring in the 75th percentile, which kind of concerns me, but we will see. Everything looks good. Have follow up appointment on Friday with OB-GYN to go over the report from peri from today. I may do the amnio on Friday.

3. How are you feeling lately?

Still pretty tired. My headaches continue, which is a bummer. I am still taking the fiorcet, which helps sometimes, but I am sure tired of having migraines every damn day.

4. QOTW: What are crazy things you are forgetting lately?

I seem to forget nearly everything these days! I suffer from ADHD as it is and have a hard time focusing, so not being on the medication + pregnancy seems to make things worse. I utilize a lot of post it notes, calendars, and phone alarms to keep myself in check. The forgetfulness seems to be worse this pregnancy than with DD.

@Momarazzi007‌ I work in healthcare and this stuff is one reason I'm so scared of having a c-section. I just want to sit around the house and be a lazy huge boring pregnant lady until I go into labor! (And throw some light shopping in when I get bored!)

2. Any medical updates (appointments, ultrasounds, tests/results, etc.)? Ultrasound was yesterday, and after not seeing anything last week, we saw the little baby yesterday- well it's kinda a white blob at this point, lol! Heartbeat was 145.6, and everything looked perfect- measured exact yesterday at 7 weeks, 2 days! YAY!

3. How are you feeling lately? Feeling good, VERY tired, especially after a long day at work & keeping up with my 4 year old!

4. QOTW: What are crazy things you are forgetting lately? Not really forgetting anything as of yet.
