    So what really stemmed this thread was 2 things:

    1) In "Kill the Moon", the whole adventure stems from the Doctor telling Clara's student that she's not special. That seemed really out of character for the Doctor since in earlier seasons, he's always telling people how amazing they are and you know..."In 900 years of time and space I've never met anyone who wasn't important." It just bothered me...I don't think the doctor had become that jaded and cynical.

    2) Anyone see Graham Norton on Saturday?? Hilarious. I never realized how big of a DW fan Capaldi was when he was younger!
