  • 1) Week of pregnancy: 6

    2) Current symptoms: Slight sore boobs, nothing else

    3) Food baby wants or doesn't want: Baby just wants constant food, but I'm not really wanting food

    4) Any questions/concerns about these symptoms others can help you with? Are the lack of symptoms normal? Will they come back? This is how I felt with my miscarriage so I'm nervous. I'm freaking out.

GTKY: What’s your favorite Halloween-related or scary flick? Not really big into scary movies like I used to be..

    2) Current symptoms: so much nausea, extremely sore boobs, oily skin, and gas.

    3) Food baby wants or doesn't want: baby wants just about everything, but I can't stomach anything besides saltines and ginger ale....and the occasional bowl of ice cream.

    4) Any questions/concerns about these symptoms others can help you with?
I'm really concerned with my food intake. I'm so hungry but gag every time I try to eat something substantial. Some days are way worse than others, but even on the "okay" days it's hard to eat.

GTKY: What’s your favorite Halloween-related or scary flick? I love Michael Myers so I'm going to have to say Halloween! All except the 3rd one which is weird and makes no sense.

  • 1) Week of pregnancy: 7 + 4

    2) Current symptoms: Exhausted all the time. Sore boobs off and on. Constantly feel like I'm starving. Sometimes I eat like a cow and sometimes I take a few bites and I feel full and nauseas. Increased CM. Dizzy spells. Overall I have just felt crappy this past week. Almost like I have the flu.

    3) Food baby wants or doesn't want:
Lemonade! Anything salty. Unhealthy pizza and burger cravings. I tried to eat a burrito bowl yesterday thinking it sounded amazing and could only get 2 bites down.

    4) Any questions/concerns about these symptoms others can help you with?

I've realized that just because I'm not throwing up, doesn't mean I don't have the typical pregnancy symptoms.

    2) Current symptoms:

Sore boobs, morning and early evening nausea with on/off sickness,
    Moodiness and some tiredness

    3) Food baby wants or doesn't want:
Generally not hungry during the day however starving at night and could eat all evening but little and very often rather than a big portion

    4) Any questions/concerns about these symptoms others can help you with?

GTKY: What’s your favorite Halloween-related or scary flick? Ermm any scary film really
  • 1) Week of pregnancy: 7W4D

    2) Current symptoms: Not many at all, just tired and feeling a little off. With my last pregnancy things like splenda started tasting weird but everything still tastes fine now.

    3) Food baby wants or doesn't want: Baby wants carbs and crap and that's it

    4) Any questions/concerns about these symptoms others can help you with? Sometimes at night I wake up on my right side and it feels kind of like my stomach is asleep (as in pins and needles). It freaks me out. I thought that lying on your back after the first tri could cut off blood flow but are there any rules about sleeping on your right side?

GTKY: What’s your favorite Halloween-related or scary flick? I like the headless horseman cartoon, for sentimental reasons.

    1) Week of pregnancy: 7 2) Current symptoms: Sore boobs, bloated, fatigue ( I usually take 2 naps during the day), constantly peeing, mild to moderate nausea. 3) Food baby wants/ doesn't want: I seem to be loving cheese and carbs especially Mac n cheese. Fruit is tasty. No desire to eat meats. I love ginger ale and propel water. 4) Any questions/concerns: I just don't feel all that pregnant yet. Anxiously awaiting my first doctor's appt. this Friday. 5) What's your favorite Halloween-related flick: Hocus Pocus
  • Week Of Pregnancy:
8 weeks today according to LMP but baby measured 6 days smaller at last Scan

    2) Current symptoms:

Sore boobs, exhaustion, random waves of nausea, swollen gums

    3) Food baby wants or doesn't want:

soups all the time. I've been craving my mom's homemade chicken soup and she is making me some this weekend.

    4) Any questions/concerns about these symptoms others can help you with?

I'm still unsure this pregnancy is going to stick after my last ultrasound. My OB didn't seem concerned, but I've had a loss before so the small measurement and the lack of heartbeat has me a nervous wreck.

GTKY: What’s your favorite Halloween-related or scary flick?

Hocus Pocus of course. I've watched it multiple times already.

    2) Current symptoms: Sore breasts, fatigue and bloating.

    3) Food baby wants or doesn't want:  Meat and cheese, which is weird because with my first one (DD) all I wanted was fruit.

    4) Any questions/concerns about these symptoms others can help you with?  Not concerned about symptoms, pretty much because this is how I felt the first time around.

GTKY: What’s your favorite Halloween-related or scary flick?  Scream for scary flick and Hocus Pocus for a fun Halloween movie.

    4) Any questions/concerns about these symptoms others can help you with? Nothing at the moment. Things are (fingers crossed) still going good!

  • 1) Week of pregnancy:  10 weeks, 2 days

    2) Current symptoms:  SO MUCH NAUSEA.  Boobs hurt like crazy.  Constipation.  EXHAUSTED.  Anyone else battling insomnia?  I feel like I can sleep all day, but am finding it almost impossible to sleep at night.  I long for a day where food/drink actually stays in my stomach.  New within the past week or two.. sneezing more than ever, feet hurt (but aren't swollen), teeth are overly sensitive, armpits hurt, and now my hair is falling out. :(

    3) Food baby wants or doesn't want:  This kid doesn't want anything anymore.  Plus, I don't care what it does or doesn't want.  Aiming for anything that will stay down and somewhat alleviate the all-day-long sickness.  Growing concerned about the fact that I'm likely not eating as well as I should be.  But nearly everything turns me off or comes back up.

    4) Any questions/concerns about these symptoms others can help you with?  Don't think so.  Pretty sure most of us are all in the same boat!  Really just looking forward to next appt a week from today.

    1) Week of pregnancy: 9 weeks 2 days!

    2) Current symptoms: my bloat has eased off completely but I am no longer constipated so that's great! My nausea has subsided and is just very very mild. I've been getting some "headaches" pretty mild and come and go. Still fatigued!

    3) Food baby wants or doesn't want:
I bought a party tray of veggies from the grocery store and ate that last night as a snack. Still wants lemonade!

    4) Any questions/concerns about these symptoms others can help you with?
I was getting concerned that my symptoms were going away and that's a bad thing but I'm convincing myself I am perfectly normal and to enjoy feeling good. Maybe I am one of those really lucky people who have great pregnancies.

    2) Current symptoms: This weekend I felt perfect but today I was dry heaving brushing my teeth and I thought I was going to puke during my 1.5 hour Monday morning meeting. BUT I didn't. Little victories.

    3) Food baby wants or doesn't want:  Food aversions are backing up a little bit, thank goodness. All I could handle for dinner last week was Raisin Nut Bran. Really enjoyed carbs still, and it shows. Ha!

    4) Any questions/concerns about these symptoms others can help you with? Nope!

GTKY: What’s your favorite Halloween-related or scary flick? I am the biggest scaredy cat and so is DH so we honestly avoid them...turn heads when scary previews come on and everything. BUT I can handle Thirteen Ghosts, I love that movie for some reason. Well it's probably be cause it's not scary but I feel tough for being able to watch it. ;)

  • 1) Week of pregnancy: 9w4d (also!)

    2) Current symptoms:  Saturday was a nausea fest (but no puking) and total exhaustion... yesterday was great and I ran a half marathon!  I've felt pretty darn grumpy all day today and last night, oh well!

    3) Food baby wants or doesn't want:  The baby is made of bread and pasta.  I wish I wanted a salad, but that sounds disgusting.  Please do not cook or serve me chicken.  Unless it is in Chinese food, in which case give me all the food.  Been loving cottage cheese mixed with grapes for lunch, planning on making some ginger snaps from scratch this week if I have the energy.

    4) Any questions/concerns about these symptoms others can help you with?

I know it is fine for me to run, but of course all afternoon after my half yesterday I was paranoid that I was going to start bleeding.  It is totally irrational, since I took it easy and REGULARLY run long distances- before I knew I was PG I had done 4+ 16-20 milers.  Everything is/was fine and I have another 1/2 planned in two weeks, but still.  Anxiety, anxiety, anxiety.  (Also, I think that I would not have been anxious at all if I just did the same distance in my neighborhood.  I think that just calling it a race made me a crazy lady).

GTKY: What’s your favorite Halloween-related or scary flick?   None, really.  Do not love scary movies AT ALL!  But I'll watch Hocus Pocus :)

    3) Food baby wants or doesn't want: Baby only wants carbs-crackers, pasta, rice and potatoes. Oh baby likes sweet tea too!

    4) Any questions/concerns about these symptoms others can help you with? I am fine with everything but the morning sickness, I cannot wait for that to be gone!

GTKY: What’s your favorite Halloween-related or scary flick? I love Halloween and Hocus Pocus, both are not really that scary though.
  • Week 10.

Symptoms: exhaustion, nausea, cramping, gas, bloat, and food adversion.

Baby does not want anything other than fruits and vegetables.

My only concern is when I'll be able to eat what I like to eat again!

My absolute favorite Halloween movie is Hocus Pocus. :)
  • @NeverTooManyShoes I can really empathize with how spotting completely messes with your mind. While I didn't have instances of tiny bits of red spotting, I did have two separate incidents over the past few weeks where I had bright red bleeding in the morning. I've had brown spotting almost every day as well. At my u/s this past Friday, we saw a heartbeat with baby growing right on track. My doctor believes the spotting/bleeding is just related to a very sensitive cervix, where even excessive movement, BMs, not enough water, etc. can irritate it enough that it causes spotting and/or bleeding. I'm cautiously optimistic, but still anxious because the brown spotting hasn't stopped.

As much as you can, try not to panic. You can always call your doctor in the morning and see what they want you to do. Hang in there, I'm sorry about the spotting!

    4) Any questions/concerns about these symptoms others can help you with?
Not really. I think we're all in the same "Grin and Bear It" boat. I realized that sleeping more (like 9-10-11 hours a night) helps a lot with energy. (Such seemingly obvious connections are hard to make with pregnancy brain.)

GTKY: What’s your favorite Halloween-related or scary flick?
Not a big horror movie fan, but I can't wait to give out (and quality-control) all the candy!
