What's the most embarrassing song you own on your iPod/phone/etc? DH and I were merging our music this weekend. I like to mock his taste in music (he has gagnam style!) but I had a hard time explaining how Miley Cyrus "Can't Be Tamed" fit in with all my 90's Alt Rock.

So what's your most embarrassing song? Shit downloaded for your kids doesn't count. Own your bad taste. Go!

Careless Whisper is my jam and is not embarrassing. Oddly though I don't have that song in my library.

I do have I Like to Move It from the Madagascar soundtrack and some kids songs from Rosenshontz that I downloaded way before we had any kids.

Honorable mention to Now That We Found Love by Heavy D & the Boyz just because I really like the wedding line dance sequence in Hitch.

I have more Carole King songs on my I pod than I care to admit. I have a lot of oldies, mixed with some hard core gangsta rap, quite a bit of popular 90s jams, and a lot of country.

"I'm Too Sexy" -- embarrassing because MH put that in our joint I-Tunes. Along with an insane amount of Falco (to be clear, an "insane amount of Falco" is any Falco beyond Rock Me Amadeus).

I do have two Irish Tenors albums in there (one is a Christmas album). Try not to be intimidated by my hipness.

I have a ton of classical/opera/jazz/oldies/movie scores/showtunes and what not that other people might THINK embarrasses me, but it really doesn't. I listen to my opera loud and proud. Musician at heart.

However... I am quite embarrassed that there is a single Justin Bieber song on my ipod. I SWEAR WHEN I HEARD IT ON THE RADIO I DIDN'T KNOW IT WAS HIM, I actually seriously thought it was a girl singing it (the volume wasnt up loud because I was in a store)...and then when I went to find it later by googling around it came up that it was by him and I died a little inside. But yeah....still got it on my ipod becauseeeeeee it's fucking catchy. ( the song is "Die in your Arms")

Also, I like Story of My Life by 1D (and that's pretty much the only song of theirs I like), and my H rolls his eyes at me over that.

I don't think he's aware of the Beibs song....whenever that pops up on my ipod when I'm listening around him, I change the track post haste.

I have like 95% of these songs on my ipod and I never thought to be embarrassed by any of them.I love all music, all genres. #noshame

Well the only reason it is, is pretty much because of how my H reacts to me over it (rolling eyes or teasing me)... otherwise, I'm not ashamed enough to not still make him hear it if I listen to it in front of him. Haters to left, basically.

I bought a duet with Miley Cyrus and Billy Rae Cyrus. They sang it on Oprah and it was about her leaving home and starting her life and I was pregnant and hormonal at the time. I mean, there really is no excuse but that's the one I'm going with.
