Our LO just turned 4 months last Friday. He has been sleeping on his belly for the last month or so.
It's the only way he will actually sleep and if I start him on his back, he flips to his belly. He also had a flat back of his head because for the first 6-8 weeks he slept in the rock and play sleeper. So not only does he like sleeping on his belly but his head is MUCH better now! It was bad enough to wear doc ordered X-rays and was going to send us to a specialist if it didn't get better by the four month appointment.
Can you tell I'm trying to reassure myself that it's ok? I feel guilty and am so incredibly paranoid all night and all day while he's at daycare, but he will not sleep any other way!!!
Re: Tummy Sleeping LOs come in :)
I think part of my fear is that I've been reading a blog of a local woman who lost her son from SIDS at daycare. It's ridiculous that I keep reading it if it makes me paranoid, but it's like googling symptoms of your sick child...you know you shouldn't do it, but it's hard not to.
